i am happy to see a new chapter. i was worried that george would have tp stay longer in russua/ however he has order to return home. s far his new officer. maybe things will get more heated soon, we can only hope.. thanks for this new installment. however i am wondering if george's homecoming will be as happy as i hoped.

Sumetmes I wonder how people who are so smart can act so dumb. Relationships are not easy. Brad and Jake just proved that. Again , Will has brought them together and hopefully heal them. Thank God for Will, his sharp mind and knowing his father so well revealed the sad truth/ I can't believe it. It must be something having to do with Jake's job. I thought Jake was good for Brad. I maybe not. How sad.

Will is very smart and wise beyond his years. Will does what he thinks is right. He always has and will. It is his nature. That is why I love him so much.

one of the most interesting things about mark's work is the twists he puts in at the end. the question is what is johnny up too? and more important can will trust him?

I found the new chapter last night and was tired so did't comment on it until now. The last chapter left me feeling uneasy about George's frame of mind. Now Davernty and Nelson have given him what he needed the most. A SHIP. it

Trust is a powerful bond. However once broken it is very hard to rebuild. For Wade it is even worse, those people he truly trusts are few and to lose Matt as one of those is like blow in the gut.

I have a waiting this chapter with joy, for it is the beginning of the homecoming I have longed for. Soon our beloved hero with be aboard one of his Majesties ships, not home but close. The sadness of leaving good friends can to offset by the joy of seeing his family at home. Again this chapter shows us who George is a man of duty. Even though this is painful, as leaving his ship this is what he had to do. Hopefully soon he will be truly home surround by trusted friend and family/ After a week in the hospital this was the best present ever. First I agree with Schubber I am missing George and hopefully his home coming. As for this nest chapter, again we see Will at his caring best. I think he said it once, why have all this money and not help out his friends. This is so much part of him. Like George's honor it is Will's helping out. One thing worries me. What is bothering Brad? Both Will and JP know that there is something out there. Another thing about this chapter is how Will deals with people. He knows how to handle both Johnny and Patrick. It shows how he has grown over these last few years. How many 17yos want to hang out with their grandparent, one moment and the next go clubbing with their father's former boyfriend? Will act's most of the time much older than he is. Again he is becoming an awesome person.

Today October 4th in Brad's 59th birthday. Happy Birthday to Brad and a warm greeting to all Mark's Readers. I hope all theyou are well and safe.

I can't agree with David more. After following this story as long as both of us have, we know what Will will do. Again it is just in his nature. All the members of this family can't help themselves. they see someone in need and they have to help. That is what we love about them.

Over the years we see Will doing good deeds. Here we see him again helping Johnny and in some ways Patrick too. However I believe Will will never have the same relationship he had with Patrick. Honestly I don't see Johnny as Will's love interest. Maybe a friend yes and maybe more who knows. I am still waiting for that soulmate. The one will have been looking for. Hopefully he found that person soon. Maybe this fall out east. Thanks for this new chapter. I loved it. Hopefully we will find out what is happening to George too.

An interesting story. Getting to know what really happened between Johnny and Patrick makes Johnny a real person someone we all want to know more about. It also shows us that Will is wondering who the real Patrick is.

What is interesting about this chapter is that sometimes it is important to stand up for what is right, even if it is not the easy thing to do. Honor is important even for us today. I wish we had more people like George alive today.

In this chapter we meet Freddie for the first time. He will become a important character and a person who will have a piece of Granger's heart. He is another one of my favorite characters in this saga. He is smart, cute, charming and it many ways an equal ( the same social class(.

As we see George been his journey in the navy, we can only wonder what great things he will achieve. Mark you have given us a brave hero, his faithful steward, a story of adventure, and a lesson in history all in one. Bravo Lord Arbour Bravo.
