I defintely like what you have here. My only suggestion is to try and not be so wordy. In some places the wordiness pulled me out of the story. A good start and I'll defintely be reading more!

The laws in the Old Testament are for Jews and Muslims only. If you're a Christian, Jesus fulfilled these laws with his sacrifice, or whatever. I think she knows this, she just needs to fill a talk show with circlejerks, so she can keep her audience.
