    Chapter 1

I thought I'd just drop you a line a let you know that I'm really digging the story so far!
  2. lol, I think I started at a /b/ archive site, which lead me to a knowyourmeme thread, which lead me there. If a meme gets used enough, 4chan will document it somewhere. They're archivists like that.
  3. I really like the beginning of this. It's unique and has an interesting feel to it. I'll definitely be reading it all!!
  4. I reaaly enjoy the story and feel like it gets better with each chapter. Can't wait to read more!
  5. I've noticed a severe drop in reviews as well. It doesn't make any sense because the review system hasn't really changed, though I think readership overall has dropped due to peer review. Some people will just never understand the system or read the help files. The best way to get people to review is through incentive. It's easy to list all reviews given within a certain time. Perhaps we could create a reviewing reviewers group where we return reviews or give people rep points for each quality review they give (you know, just a tad bit more than, "i like this").
  6. Rule 34- If it exists, there is porn of it!
  7. I'm the type that fears rejection, so I never come right out and ask people on dates! I hint around, make comments, flirt, and the people either bite, or don't. If you're like me and fear rejection, this method actually works most the time! Especially if you're good at reading people. If you're not the type to fear rejection, then just be blunt and ask him out. If he's the gossipy type and your ex is on the team as well, he probably already knows you like him. People talk all the time, and their favorite subject is who likes who. Maybe he's the shy type and likes you, but just can't get the words out!
  8. I don't ever cry during a movie, in fact I usually laugh at really sad and inapropriate parts (maybe that's my version of crying?). I watched District 9 recently and actually cried slightly, which really surprised me. I wasn't expecting it to be sad at all.
  9. I believe that people can fall in love with the idea of love at first sight, if that makes any sense. I think actual love has to be the product of actually knowing someone.
  10. An interlude has been posted, it can be found here.
  11. It came from the pits of /b/. It's probably nearly impossible to find its original source, but you could always strap on your brain condom, wade over there, and ask. ETA: Well, my hunt has lead me to, oh lord, a furry website, yey. Here's some basic info: http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/BAWWWWW! It appears to be originally created by Marci McAdam and appears to be from a comic about gay baby rabbit furry diaper porn... I never thought I would type that.
  12. 1 The hole in the wall stared back at Blake like a one eyed demon of regret. He hadn’t meant to lash out and strike the drywall. It was sudden -- an outward expression of inner pain. He ran his left hand over the knuckles of his right and winced. Nothing was broken, but it would be sore for a few days. Luckily, he hadn’t hit a stud. He plopped on his bed and waited for the footsteps to finally make it to his room. The punch had been quick, hard, and had caused a loud thumping sound to reve
  13. If I had one tip, it'd be for people to wait until they are 18 if they can. That way, most of the negative consequences can be avoided. I'm completely out to everyone, except my dad, who I don't really have a relationship with anyway. I actually had a good experience with coming out. All my friends were completely supportive, which doesn't suprise me because I'm drawn to open minded people. I don't think they would have been my friends to begin with if I ever thought they'd have a problem. My mom took it okay. When I told her, I was already moved out, on my own, and really didn't care if she accepted it or not. I didn't really have a good relationship with her to begin with, so when I told her, it was kind of like, meh, you either deal with it or don't, I don't really care. She deals with it, our relationship hasn't changed, although we don't discuss it ever, which is fine, because I really don't want to discuss my love life with her to begin with. She'll find 1000 things to bitch about anyone I'm with, anyway.
  14. Precious - I thought it was so powerful and Monique was great in it! District 9 - An amazing film that turned out to be something totally different than I thought it would be. Coraline - If you don't mind animated movies, this is one of the best I've seen in years. Transamerica - Soooo funny and great writing. Jennifer's Body - A really underrated movie. Many quotable lines. Zombieland - Another great, quotable movie.
  15. Now that I have the first part of my story posted, I thought I'd start a thread for it. The story can be found here. I'm planning on a once or twice a week posting schedule. I can't really give a day. The chapters still go into mod review, and you never know how busy they may be.
