How come you cringe? The formal name for the system is Global Positioning System, thus GPS. Satnav is a rather colloquial name for GPS, and seems to be limited to the UK only. I've not heard it called satnav outside the UK. And it’s wrong. GPS is the system of satellites made by the US, but around the world the Chinese, Russians, and Europeans deployed BDS, GLONASS, and Galileo respectively. Referring to any of them by their name for the use of navigation in a car is inaccurate. It is a navigation system or satellite navigation system that utilizes the satellites in the sky to work, but the thing in your car is not the satellite itself. It’s like calling a cell phone a cell tower. Satnav refers to the thing in your car, not the thing in the sky, and I appreciate that hugely. 😂

Don't say that yet I do mean it though. So unless you pull a Game of Thrones Season Eight on us… 😛

I enjoy where this story is going. Your pacing is enthralling, @lawfulneutralmage. Heh. It’s so interesting to dive into this. Jamie felt violated, just like people should feel when their privacy is violated without their knowledge. But for Morris-Walker, it’s just another sense that he uses. If I were to write a mutant story with someone able to use radiation to see through objects, clothing, etc., it would just be a sixth sense to them (totally not drawing that parallel because I might be writing such a thing), yet others—once it becomes known—would feel immensely violated. This is an opportunity for Jamie and Morris-Walker to build trust (or lose it) on another level again. Jamie has to trust Morris-Walker’s word that he’s not using the ability beyond what he said he would. He doesn’t know whether the extent of privacy violation was truthful, and he doesn’t know if MW’s description of how his ability works is either. Thank you for saying satnav instead of GPS. I cringe when people call navigation systems “GPS”. 💙 Well played. Exhaust the tabloid story until it loses its spark, preventing further speculation.

I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE STILL HERE ! I'm deathly afraid of losing readers, as I have before, they just drop off when the story went round the bend. (I know who you are, but then again you're not reading this, are you XD ?) A friend recommended this to me (HI SAMMY!) when she said "Why not? DOOO ITTTTT" to the idea of writing from a different character's POV. So I called out @Zuri for misplacing Mozart’s birth place and historically accurate country designation, yet @Anton_Cloche history fact checked me 😛 Fun fact: I have both German and Austrian citizenship. 🇦🇹🇩🇪 Not that that’s any useful.

It's easier to refer to the Constructs as Constructs or Wardens and not mix them with gods. Even though people in our reality on earth (the Prime) would refer to them as gods as "something higher".
