This makes me very happy to hear.
Why does a German set a story in Oregon of all places? I fell in love I guess. When you describe your adventures through your home state, my heart jumps. I’m a bit jealous even. I’m surprised you say the Eldarwood reminds you of the Lost Forest. Thank you. It indeed was an inspiration, but then again we are transported to a hidden realm inside the forest where things are distinctly different. If you remember the beginning of Wepwawet, the chapter where Grey is pacing through the desert, it is a tribute to Oregon, just as much as it is a nod to the Egyptian mythology I got inspiration from. Egyptian mythology and Oregon don’t mix really well, I know that, but I’m creating my own little story here, I thought why not
I’m here for everything you have to say. As an Oregonian, feel free to call me out on my bullshit. I hope I do Oregon justice. And I’m sure you’ll catch up in no time. Thank you so much!!
