Isn't that a little judgmental and trying to restrict others thoughts? 🤣
-
Rather sad that people choose to inject politics into reviews when GA has a very firm policy that forbids talking about politics in any place but The Pit. As the intro to The Pit says, "The only place on Gay Authors for chatting about politics. Keep it in here so people that just want to enjoy stories can do so in peace."

Happy 4th Mark 🧨 Thanks for a great new chapter. As a note to the author, 2-on-2 volleyball is more commonly called 2 man. 2X2 is how you order a double double at In-n-Out 🤣 Also in beach volleyball (which is what the NCAA 2-on-2 volleyball is) the magic number is 21, not 25. No real drama this chapter, just the continuing build-up to a presumed melt-down.

Actually you'd be surprised at how normal and nonchalant the Sprouse boys are. They don't try to hold onto past fame as so many other former child stars have.

This is Sangria in the U.S. $16 for a three liter jug 🤣
-
That was my thought. Sangria seems a little déclassé for Jeremy. If he drank alcohol, which I don't recall much of from him, it would be something very esoteric or French or both (Pernod?).

More to the point, it is intra-fukin-murals, not even the collegiate team. Bravo. Perfectly stated. Yes it is Will's fault solely, because even though Will has been upfront verbally, his physical actions say , 'hay boyfriend' and played Austin like a Stradivarius. Well yeah, but it WAS Delaware 🤣 It is the lying to himself and what he was doing to Austin as a result that bothered me.

Absolutely brilliantly written chapter, but fuckin' A when did college students at one of the most elite schools in the world turn into tween girls. "Then there were the other emotions, mostly sadness and loneliness. I missed studying with Austin. I missed lying in bed with him after sex. I definitely missed the sex. And I missed waking up in the night and finding him there and feeling safe and comfortable as a result." This is all Will's fault. The point of an open relationship is to be able to fuck around, not get emotionally dependent on your hook-ups, not to encourage/mislead your hook-ups. And it certainly was misleading to Austin for Will to treat him like a boyfriend and do all the cuddly shit. Will, the smartest 19 year old on planet Earth, certainly had to understand the effect he was having on Austin. Will's words may have said, 'I am committed to Travis', but his actions said, 'you have a chance to replace him'. Will should have kept his relationship with Austin compartmentalized to study buddy in one slot, fuck buddy in a second slot, and dining companion/friend to a third slot. Will ignored the warning signs because as always with Will it is about him and what he wants. “What we’re doing, being the Triad, is the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life." Well THAT is a very sad commentary on Niko's life..... College intramurals are the coolest things he's ever done? "Kirkland capitalized. They forced Adams into high, predictable swings and ran their middle attack straight through the heart of the Adams block." That is all on Niko. He is the quarterback. It is up to him to distribute the sets and do enough dumps to keep the opponent off kilter. Wanna see some volleyball? Here are the #1 and #2 teams in LA County, CIF Southern Section, State of California and #1 and #2 in the country. Mira Costa is Manhattan Beach, Loyola (where Tommy went to high school) is LA. A lot of the top players from both teams play club together for MB Surf.

The purser isn't a traitor, he is a simple crook as so many pursers in every navy were. "His lesson on leadership is profound and applies not only to military leadership but to almost every kind of leadership." This is a modern concept, straight from Harvard B School. The prevailing attitude at the time was "Theirs not to make reply, Theirs not to reason why, Theirs but to do and die." Captain Bligh was considered the very model of a British navy captain and his harsh treatment of men was the norm of the day, not the exception. He was eventually promoted to Vice-Admiral of the Blue and Governor of NSW Australia, and not punished for losing his ship. Granger was something of a progressive along the same lines as John Paul Jones of the U.S. Navy.
-
I really appreciate a new sailor boy chapter since they are a rare commodity, unlike your every day CAPter chapter! I don't think these are the traitors necessarily, I think they were just two resentful douché bolsas. George knows how to win people over, the common sailor, the aristocats and merchant class.

Actually I think the title was only able to be corrected when GA switched hosting platforms.
-
Of the two, Austin and Will, Austin seems the more normal one to me.

Isn't that the place in England where people get murdered every week?

I was going to say, "There was no way someone like Austin could dial back his feelings like Will CAN". Will is a slut, a man-whore. He thinks sex is recreation. Austin is built differently. To him sex is intimacy and he doesn't want sex for sex's sake. His comment, "you're breaking up with me" says it all. He THINKS he and Will were in a boyfriend relationship and he was hopeful he'd displace Travis, but as our senior partner loves to say, 'hope is not a strategy'. Will was wrong to try and have his beefcake and eat it too. He should have set boundaries with Austin a long time ago. As to Travis, my first thought when he mentioned not sleeping well was , uh-oh, he is going to get in the Ambien-cocaine trap. That will fuck you up bigly. Travis doesn't recognize that cocaine is BAAAAAAAAAAAD for him; Will, the wisest 19 year old on the planet, should. When Travis tells Will, "Kendo got me some great blow", there should all kinds of alarm bells going off in Will's head. Thanks Mark for sticking to schedule and cranking out these chapters so consistently. I hope you can get over to KC for a little world cup love. I got to watch Switzerland crush Bosnia yesterday and heading off to my favorite pub now to watch the U.S.

I KNEW I hated Granola bars for a reason! Actually on a Hollywood set you are more likely to find sushi as a snack than granola. "He lives his life in a fishbowl" Ah, this made me think of Dom Luka and that made me sad. Dom, Dom, wherefore art thou Dom? Thanks Mark for one of the most fun chapters in the history of CAP and thanks for keeping the ball rolling on schedule. I am sure one day the well might run dry, but I am happy it has not so far. I don't get why Will doesn't hire some Focus Re-adjusters to convince Kendo to leave Travis alone. I think three Focus Re-adjusters, 6'1", 280 pounds, to pin down Kendo and draw on his face in red with permanent Magic Markers with words to the effect, "next time we use X-acto Knives if you don't leave Travis Buck alone".

My mind went to black head and Dr. Pimple Popper.

I think Granger will win the crew over the way he always does. He will see they are properly turned out in fresh clean uniforms, properly fed and properly supplied with drink, even if he has to dig into his own purse to do it. Then he may capture some ships from the Mussulmans and put some money in the crew's pocket.

Thanks Mark for more of this continuing saga. I guess I hadn't really thought about it, but I guess I am surprised that Frank and Isidore still lived at Escorial. I would have thought Frank would want to live with his wife in a home of their own, like the one in the East Bay. *That’s all because we had that big confrontation last year where I made him earn his place as my brother.” * Sorry, but this line was just one more reason to kick Will in the balls or punch him in the face and maybe both. I certainly have had my issues with my siblings, but there was never a shadow of a thought that they'd have to "earn (their) place" as my sibling. What a complete ass. As to Kendo, he now knows the formula with Travis, drugs and alcohol and more drugs. He will use that knowledge to get what he wants. And I don't think he wants Travis as a boyfriend, I think he just wants the conquest and will leave Travis high, dry and devastated when he not only achieves his main goal, but ruins Travis and Will as a couple too.
-
Thanks for the next adventure of Granger. I of course have forgotten who all the Spanish officers and midshipmen are, so I'll need to go back and reread that chapter. Seems like there are any number of cute Spaniards who can be bent over a chart table. Hope Palomar doesn't spoil the party.

Only If Travis explains to Will the circumstances honestly.
-
I think Travis already does regret giving Kendo a ride and more than that, kissing Kendo and doing so while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He has exposed a weakness to Kendo and so far we have not seen any backbone in Travis when it comes to dealing with people in Hollywood. I think it is something he does every once in awhile and not a regular habit. He takes hits when he thinks he needs stabilizing. Travis doesn't have a coke addiction, but a coke psychological dependence, which is different. If Travis had any self awareness, which he does not, he'd run to therapy.
-
I'd have Kendo's legs broken. Surely Travis should be able to see that Kendo does hot have the best interests of Travis on his mind.
-
A drunken kiss would be a none issue and no one would be "outed" over it. But there is a lot to unpack in this chapter. How can Travis, who was so strong in standing up to his father and getting away from his guards in Europe be such a weak, needy sap now? Travis needs to hire a PA to keep Kendo away from him, Travis out of bars and bad situations. With Travis' budding fame, fake IDs won't work any more. Travis needs to sack up and push Kendo away, but of course that won't happen because then this would a boring story. There needs to be real explosions of emotions and all that. Will "Don't Tell Me What To Do" Schluter just spent a whole lot of time telling Marie what to do with her love life. A consistent Will would have told Marie to talk to Stef or her mother and stay out of it. But Will "I'm A Control Freak Just Like My Father" Schluter can't do that, he has to meddle and control. Thanks Mark for the newest chapter and drama. We all keep wondering when the MOAB is going to drop.

Not at all. My eyes are going, ca-ching, ca-ching, tell me more.
