    Mike, the thing with Ethan is he is also trying to help himself. Despite the smiles, jokes and happy go lucky exterior, he is still hurting from his own break up. They'll be fine and it shows, they both care about each other, not just getting off.

    The cartoon is great, and because of it, I had to find out all about the the characters so I quickly read through chapter 4, yes I owe you reviews, and I will get there, BUT i wanted to say I do enjoy the comic

    Jason, Peter's family, others have tried, but as you noted, he is shutting down inside and losing who he was/is. Everyone can see his needs, except him. That is usually how it is unfortunately. Jason's desperate attempt to shake him may not work, but then again, nothing else has so far either.

    Ethan's the one outside observer who can not only tell Jason what he needs to hear but also have some authority behind it. Ethan - more than D or Wendy is the best suited for Jason to confide in, because he has lived what Jason is dealing with. Peter's lie wasn't smart in the least. Trust is the most important thing in a relationship, and once lost it is hard to recover.

    Another manifestation of Peter's need for control. Jason's placating Peter isn't helping, but he doesn't realize it yet. He still hopes if he just gives Peter time, things will go back to normal. He might be right, but if he isn't he is in for heart ache.

    Nephy, you power reviewed me today LOL. I am about half way through your post. Peter's issue with money is a symptom not the problem. This just puts the exclamation point on it before the real problem rears its ugly head. You faith might be tested as Jason is already having his doubts by now.

    In some small part this was a chapter to show that which made Jason, Jason. For all her faults, Barbara did a pretty good job raising a good kid. He loves his family, and the cousins all love him. Unlike the others, he has time for KJ who, while in that in between place, between the older cousins and the younger ones, still isn't shoved aside by Jason. Of course, every family has it's resident Prick, Uncle Ray to the front please?? Since I wrote the summer chapters, I've had a vision of the Henry Mansion, that was itching to come out. Thank Benji for making me do more with the grandparents, else these chapters might not get written.

    HMM typo? really? I thought that was the expression LOL. Guess I was wrong. The goal here was to begin to show the cracks in Peter's psyche. Show that although he thinks he is fine, he is not. Christmas with the family is important to Jason because he is close to most of his family, including his younger cousins.

    Do you want a warning for Chapter 49 so you can be the first to review that too? Jason has grown up, but that is in no small part thanks to Peter, who was more mature when they met. Peter, will eventually deal with his issues, the question is will he do it sooner than later. If not, all it will do is mess Jason up. Sooner or later he has to move on, and given how things work, that will be when Peter finally comes back - after Jason has found someone else and is trying to find a new life. Hopefully, Peter will figure it out before then - for both their sakes.

    Simon, that is spot on. Jason will give him time, but sooner or later he will give up. Not sure Jason and Ethan are a good fit as bf's however, but it seems like they could have some fun anyway.

    Ethan to me was always the happy, fun guy no one expects to be down. This was an attempt to show that below smiles and laughter, he was a hurt little boy who needed someone to pay attention to him. I think the two of them came to a good resolution, one that neither will regret - i.e. they both didn't just jump each other because they were broken/breaking up with their BF's - but still left the door open to more should they both find themselves single. I have a sense, Jason won't wait around forever and Ethan won't let him. Clearly Ethan has no issues with Jason being super rich.

    Kevin, please, Ethan and D? Really?? Hmm there's an idea for a sequel. Brothers, friends are forever, but sometimes first lovers are not. Things may not work out for these two but at least they tried to deal with it right instead of having the potential for an Ethan/Anthony break up. One more to go, hope when it's posted you like it as much as this one. Andy

    I have no idea what you are talking about Anyta, none at all. Nothing to be sad about, there will be new adventures somewhere along the way - who knows, maybe I will revisit these characters - Nephy has already put in a request for what she wants to see happen and i promised her that IF I do a sequel, I will accommodate her wishes - I mean she is Nephy after all

    HAHA well Peter was VERY good for Jason before this all happened so Peter is not without his good points too. I am not sure why Jason said no to Ethan. Desire was there. But there was also the issue of Ethan dealing with his break up and Jason still hoping against hope Peter will come back. Then too, Ethan wasn't looking for more than a romp in Jasonland, not asking Jason out. So while you might not be a good girl, this might not have been the right time for this. Besides if things don't work out, Jason has Peter's replacement all lined up.

    Had to look up pollyannaish to figure out exactly what you meant - I suppose I can see that, I don't do well writing about people being nasty to each other. I should, it might add a dimension to things, but this is how I wanted this to come out, so I guess that is good, right? Love is hard, as a friend once told me, if it was easy everyone would do it.     Okay, so see my post on your forum, cause I's still a tad confuzzled. But why let not understanding totally keep me from writing here right?? So Bashta is totally in heat over Cavel hehehe - Poor Cavel, one hopes he can keep up with his soul mate in this May December romance. So far it seems Bashta is outwardly holding the upper hand, but alone he is struggling to keep his 'paws' off of Cavel. You do realize when these to finally shack up, you are gonna need to write one helluva sex scene right?? I mean the fur is gonna FLY baby. Okay so clearly this has a woman's touch or two, but you messed up, you spilled the age old female secret of how to keep men off balanced. Who knew it was so easy.

    Wait. I was supposed to read Bonds Unbroken first? Cause I read chapter two and I am afraid you are going to ban me from your forum, because I STILL don't get what the Carthea are. I read your last explanation and figured I'd get it in Chapter 2 but I am more confused than before. Are the Carthea men or cats? I ask again because last explanation made it sound like when they bond, they turn into cats, but everyone on the expedition is a man, not a cat and since some are bonded, I am utterly confused. So break it down small, please???Pretty Please???

    Yeah it is kinda cool, and just think you can start ANY topic you like in here and it won't be off topic. Though I do think fewer people will see the topic. There are good and bad points to having your own forum. The bad is fewer people just 'stumble' upon it like they do when you are in the main story forum. But then I don't have to worry about it getting lost amongst others either.
