I am posting here and not the soapbox because I am not trying to get into a debate about the pros and cons of gay marriage, but for those who don't know, Maryland is trying to pass a gay marriage bill. It was thought the toughest hurdle would be the State Senate as that was where it was blocked the last few years. But last week it passed the Senate and is in the Md House now. Opponents of the bill have organized a massive anti gay marriage drive that is said to be threatening the bill. IF you live in Maryland or have friends and family there, pass along the link below and ask them to write their State Reps telling them they support the measure. The Governor has already said several times he will sign the bill once it passes. Thanks Equality Maryland

OMG - you didn't just kill Brian. Though I guess for him this was better. If Adam died, he wouldn't want to live with the pain, so at least this way his pain ended. still - very sad. Magister A is proving to be much much more than he seemed, though he always did seem a bit more than he let on. Really good chapter. Sad, but good.

Two stories? Meh, not sure if it's the kind of story that is a two parter. It always seemed to me this was one story yes there were two parts, but not sure either is good enough to stand alone at the end - but you could be right. What is more interesting to me is the comment about the middle chapters - that one gave me a wow he's good moment. Those were actually the first written, so despite attempts to go back and 'clean' them up, I guess that doesn't work as well as writing from scratch - nice pick up

Okay I do NOT like Sandi. Sure River is jealous, but in the words of the immortal Homer Simpson - Who WOULDN'T??? Why do I have this bad feeling about Sandi - Why do I have flash backs to Weeping Lily?? I mean this is Nephy after all - she isn't going to write a happy happy joy joy story about the wonderful life of River and Silver having mind blowing sex all the time. I mean Sandi - DID ask if Sam was armed why's that??? Maybe I won't read chapter five just yet.

I do believe I said in Chapter 3 or 4 that Jason's Mom was 'heiress rich' as in old school money. It was a chapter that never quite got written - and it appears I deleted what I did write though it might be on my memory stick. - Anyway, in that Chapter it was revealed that the Pop was the scion of an old industrial family who's grandfather invested a few thousand dollars in an idea by a man named Hersey - in my mind they live near Hersey Pa. That investment alone was worth quiet a bit. Flora would have come from one of the old banking Families of Pittsburgh one of which shares it's name with Andrew Carniege on university that a certain cousin when to. So there was quite some wealth on that side as well. The field house for the University is named after Ray and Flora, as Ray donated most of the money for it's completion. In the unfinished and missing scene, this came out when the Henry's came to visit Jason and Peter on their way to see the Dean about a bequeath in Ray's will and what he wanted it to go for. But again it never got finished nor did it work itself into the story line very neatly. But the idea of their wealth is still there. When the story is over, I may post an epilogue which would answer some questions but not be part of the story - i.e. what I just laid out above. I seriously doubt anyone starting to read this story 5 month or more from now will go back and read or even skim the 300 plus and counting posts nor would I want them to given the things that are given away in these posts. So I might need to put a few things in an epilogue of sorts so that folks will only read it when they are finished with the story. And I could also add to that chapter if need be should the need arise. Long answer - sorry.

Okay so this is a lie of the highest magnitude - first go back and check - part of the problem was the question was flawed - why aren't more people reading? Quite a few are reading. Yours is one of the 20 most read stories on the site - go check if you don't believe me. [hint - it's #19 right now. :king: ] Given Mark Arbor has at least 3 in there, Anyta has 2, Nephy has at least 2 - you are one of the top 15 most read authors on the place - That hardly sounds like a 'failed author' to me - quite the contrary - seems folks rather like your work. Now the issue of why is no one else posting on here - well that is an age old problem. Each author has a few devoted followers who post regularly - that is about the best you can hope for. Most of your readers are probably not registered members so they can't review or comment on the forum. All in all you should be pretty pleased, it will only get better from here. Now as to the obvious, why Haven't I posted or commented - I have been trying to finish my story and the last 5 chapters proved a bugger for me - I don't do conflict as well as good times - oops, probably shouldn't have said that but hopefully there aren't a lot of cross over readers so I didn't give anything away. But I am done so - err, watch out? watch what you ask for? [okay your fans asked not you but still ] Okay pep talk over, we now return you to your normal reading pleasure. Andy

Haha DDZ, that was a lot of thoughts in that review. My vision of Mom - aka Barbara was that she was a lot like her brother Ray - privileged, concerned with appearances etc, but that Royce tempered that, bringing her back to earth somewhat. Her 'hiding' behind religion was just a crutch to hide her real reason for not approving - her position in the social scene when it came out her son was gay. As for everything, else, I said it else where - I am going to answer the change in the will question in chapter 44. Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment. Andy
