    He stirred, coming out of sleep at the sound of familiar voices off in the distance and blinked several times trying to focus. He yawned as he glanced around the room noticing the small person that laid next to him last night had gone, all that was left behind was his ‘Captain America’ blanket. The aroma of fresh coffee and cinnamon wafted through the air, luring him awake. He could hear talking; little voices that belonged to Liam and Ethan and a rich deep voice that belonged to his…husband.

    Hey, Nettie Poo. Yep so many emotions and conflicting one at that. It's hard when you're not sure, when you're still hurting to know what to do. There were lines crossed between Drake and Max, ones that as you mentioned must be dealt with, Max needs to remember they are friends, then you have Cody, who is insightful and wise. He does love Drake and Drake loves him back. Life shouldn't have to be so complicated...lol Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday. Super sized Hugs coming your way. Kim

My inspriation for this story is a little older, one called, 'Regarding Henry' staring Harrison Ford, it's a sweet endearing movie.     I was a little late Frostina..oopies I'll do better lol. I have to say that both of these guys are incredible. And as you said, all things considered, Christian is taking it all in stride and going along with it. He believes them, and as the doctor said he does have choices here, he's just making the one he feels is best for his "family" and that's going home and work through it. So yes, he deserves Kudos for that. I'm hoping everything turns out okay in the end Merci, my dear. Kim

    I Know, intune, David is incredible with the whole situation. I agree with you, the whole courting thing could be fun. The car thing was us getting a glimps into Christian's head, which we will see more of. Going through the journey with Christian and David should prove to be entertaing...I hope.     I would love an editor. I'll admit I'm horrible with grammer, compound words. I get comments all the time saying they loved the story, but I could use and editor. I got one, and he was great but he was committed to two other writers. I have a feeling we have more who are writing then who are editing...but again I'm so in need of one. sidenote, I did go through the proper channels to get the editor I had, so if anyone is interested...so am I just saying...

    thanks Nettie Poo, I' glad you enjoyed the chaper and the way you preceived it. Max is all messed up and you're right there is some blur here. Drake on the other hand, seems to handle the "blur much better than Max. There was a need there and they fulfilled it, for now anyway and yes Max denied and flipped out, but like you said, it was expected. this moment for them impacts so much more. I hope you keep reading..

    merci, intune glad you enjoyed the story. It did have a different feel, I wanted to be real, not leave you with a bubbly feeling, but as you put it satisfied, understanding that it is okay to love again. These two deserved to be happy, I honestly feel Brad being Brad, would have been cool with it. Kim

    Thank you ck,The story was intended to be a short story dealing with the five stages of grief,I actually added a few chapters. I was hoping it didn't appear I rushed the end, so glad it worked.     the fight was inevitable...both Drake and Cody are strong individuals. and yes I agree, Drake was out of line, he fought dirty and Cody did what he should...leave him to wallow in is stupidity. but Drake is driven by something more... what Cody was doing was low key putting Max down, his jealously was showing. he usually keeps it in check, so that was an Oops moment. Drake does have a lot of thinking to do...can't wait till you read the next chapter...hehe Danke, chica, Kim

    I agree, Nettie, sometime people do things for all the wrong reasons expecially when they are hurting. Drake is indeed a good friend to both Max and Brad. Even Cody see that, but is there more to Drake's motives...you'll have to read more to find out.. Danke, Nettie Poo Kim

    I really love Cody, he's a very insightful man. I think it was time for him to take his ball and bat and go home. I love that you are reading both stories and posting a comment, they are on two different plains for sure. this story was intended to deal with the 5 stages of grief, so it's coming to an end...acceptance is the last, but I think the end will surprise you.     Thank you ck, Kids pick up on a lot of things. They watch us when we don't know they are watching. Kids are smart little cookies and will tell your business...trust me I know They do have a lot of love in their family. In one chapter though he can't remember even Christian himself says "No one's life is this perfect" but when the love is there, real love it can feel perfect which is how David feels and he's patient because he wants what he and Christian had back. Christian is in for a few surprises himself. again thanks, love your comments. Kim
