Okay, I have to say that I love the start of this story..I can't wait to see where you go with them...Poor Seth I can't help but feel for him, living in his brother's shadow through no fault of their own. You're writing is such that I fall in love with him at the door. Then we have Spencer..Hummm the Spencer whose attention was captured by likes of Seth....So much to build from here. I'll be watching for updates to see how it all plays out. Hope Rl don't get in the way of our next update that I'm already sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for....

YAY!!!!!! and I didn't have to wait 20yrs...you ROCK!!!!! I've missed this story... As I was reading this chapter I kept thinking how so much like his father Kit was. I could see Tay and his dad having such conversations where Tay was trying to pull back and Mitch wasn't having it. Not giving up so easily on something he knew he wanted. Tom *hugs* to him...He doesn't want to forget Miguel and he's afraid to love because of that. I totally get where he's coming from. If Kit is anythng like his dad I'm not to worried about them, Tom will come around I hope....

My kids and I just ran to Dairy Queen and when were walking back I looked down and we all had on flip flops.....lol I've seen those and they are really neat...I want to get my son a pair for school. My 14yr old daughter is a tennis shoe freak...she spends hundreds of dollars of baby sitting money on Air Maxes...Nike and 24/7s what ever that is...lol We go barefoot in the house my front door is full of shoes...

You're right Conner it's sad on both parts. you can see both sides here. Poor Lisa, she didn't ask for this...and Poor Nick, it was never his intention to hurt her. I know this is so random and crazy, but the other day I was grocery shopping, wearing my Old Navy flip flops..lol and just happend to look down at a pair feet coming toward me and low and behold he was wearing flip flops and so was the perison passing him. So me and my eight year old son started taking a tally on how many men, women and children were wearing flop flops aside from us....yes he was wearing flip flpos too....lol the number was stargging...the majority were wearing either flip flops or tennis shoes...lol As I mentioned I know it's crazy, but the next time you're out, check it out.... We love our flip flops...I've seen them range from one dollar (Old Navy) to I kid you not...80 dollars... man. Who ever invented flip flops is making a mint.

I'm with you. I sleep so light that REM wakes me up. lol (Rapid Eye Movement) It's like I have so much on my mind, that my mind wont shut off at nights. so like you I've gone to the doctor. He wouldn't give me sleeping pills but did give me a mild sedative that they used years ago and that didn't work. Melatonin worked for a bit...so does benadryl believe it or not. I woke up groggy when I took it so that didn't work. But funny enough a patient gave me some great advice. She asked if I drink wine, which I do...lol She asked how much and how late in the evenings. I was a shame...lol but I told her, after dinner I have about 2...okay sometimes 3, one before bed. She told me to stop! there's a lot of sugar in wine and it might relax you initially but as it hits the blood stream it turns into sugar, which will and can cause you to wake up and stay awake. so here lately I've stopped my wine consumption 2 hours before I go to bed and I've found this sleep aid from Natures Own called Sleepy I take that an hour before bed and it seems to be working....They also wanted to do a Sleep Apnea study on me, but as I've mention this seem to be working so *sighs* we'll see. Kim PS: I just saw you work shif work at the hospital, , I work at one too 5am-1:30pm which is cool but I have kids and in the summer it's the worst..going to bed when it's still light out and the kids are running around. I hear everything...them talking, flushing the toliet and the microwave door opening and closing UGHHHHH....lol I feel your pain.

Ok, Lisa is pregnant. Great for Lisa , not so great for Nick. Your characters are coming along nicely. Danny's a hoot! Yep. Poor Lisa, that might change. SO, Lisa is prego and she couldn't be the happier, but what about Nick? Awww....Thanks Conner. It's a finished story of mine that I wrote back in 2007 I actually have several that are finished that I've written over the years that I might post over here. two for sure. Saw this thread, and decided to throw my hat in the ring...I've seen Shelter and it was good, but my all time Fav is an old one called 'Torch Song Trilogy' It's a classic. oh and 'Partners' Not so much a "gay" movie as a gay themed.. with Ryan Oneal and John Hurt...it's a light hearted drama/comedy.
