I had to turn pages for a pianist a bout a week and a half ago when she was playing this trio. It's considered one of the hardest trios to play, because of the piano part and getting the ensemble to fit together and because one half is variations. I hope you enjoy it, as much as you did. It was the first time I heard that trio played.
Hey Ramon! How's the organizing going? I look forward to hear all about this meet up when I am back in town in August I hope there will be some pictures too
Someone else will need to take over the organization from now on, as I will not be here in mind July. Andy and Princess Duchess will be in town so I suggest all GA Van members rally together and plan a big shin dig for them. I'll be sad to miss it! Y'all have fun. Much love - West

I heard in Korea, they have match makers where you give them the list of things you want in your spouse (this is for straight couples) and they find you a match. Two of my friends parents met this way, they've been married 40+ years.
Are gay matchmakers and arranged marriages the next thing to pop up, as more and more countries legalize our right to marry who we want
I don't have the time or the resources to do that. When I came up with doing this, I envisioned it to be a small meet up of local ga members, who live in the area. With only 3 members living in Vancouver/people who have show interest in attending - it doesn't make sense to make a huge deal out of it. You however are welcome to organize a huge event, and make it more of regional west coast thing, if you want it headed in that direction!
It would have been more powerful if they were two guys and one was wearing a Canucks jersey and the other a bruins jersey. About 16,000 people showed up downtown today to clean up the mess. I feel sorry for the bruins fan who was killed by being shoved of the bridge. The police has confirmed the rioters were actually black bloc criminals in jerseys who decided to riot regardless of a win or loss.
If you're interested in watching the riots you can view it here:

It's pretty crazy, I hope all my friends come home safe and sound!
Congrats to Boston, on a game well played (I for one am not a sore looser).
And hats off to Tim Thomas! What a game!
Hi all ~ I'm planning a GA Meet Up this Summer in Vancouver. It will be the first weekend of July (Canada day weekend).
So far it looks like we've got 3-4 members attending! If you are interested in meeting up please reply to me, and closer the time I will let you know the location. We'll probably be meeting up for lunch or dinner at a restaurant downtown.
Cheers,
West Coast Dude!
If you said that in Vancouver at the partying crowds on granville and davie (the gay part of town) ~ you would be mincemeat! We canuckians are FIERCE! GO CANUCKS! We're taking home the cup and wanted to win it on home soil!
That's what my ear plugs are for and theirs actually not a lot by the place I live...downtown will be madness though. But you never know the bruins are bad ass they could steal the cups from the canucks...
This summer I planned to come out in person to the guy I've liked for years. I already knew he was gay, but I wanted to tell him face to face I loved him. This past week I found out he has a bf. I wish I had done it sooner, I was just waiting for that right moment. The right moment never comes around I learned, you should just go for it.
