Jerry paced back and forth in Coach Campbell’s office wondering where in the world was the man of the hour they needed to speak with. After what seemed like an eternity, but was a little over twenty eight minutes, Jason knocked on the door. At the same time Jerry and Campbell asked him to come in, once he came in, Jerry stepped back and let Campbell run things. “Good morning Jason please take a seat.” Jason looked over at the owner and then back over to his head coach. He was already nervous on

All through the night, Caleb tossed and turned, he just couldn’t sleep. He kept waking up every time he heard noise in the room or near it. Even when the nurses came in to check on Joey, Caleb would watch them very closely. One of the nurses he asked what she was doing with Joey’s bag, when she was just changing them out to new ones. Joey woke up to find Caleb cuddled up with him on the single bed. Although he cannot see Caleb, he knows it is Caleb in bed with him. He started to feel around unt

Mr. Henderson already has his hands full with the residents in his facility attending school. Now school is out and the residents pretty much have nothing to do all day, and he is pretty worried about that. In return, he asked his guards to come up with ideas for keeping the residents time occupied with different things to do. What is occurring in the cafeteria at this very moment is proving Mr. Henderson right. A couple of the older residents are having problems with a new resident that just a

After Dewayne and Jacob reset up their room, they headed over to spend time with Jeremy. Jacob knows by the way Jeremy is acting that is his scared and didn’t know what was going on. Jeremy needs to be taken step by step so he understands before something happens. If that doesn’t happen, Jeremy will do one of two things; either he will act out and make a scene or do what he is doing right and now and that is to hide in the corner. Jacob walked into Jeremy’s room acting as if they are playing hi

After the court hearing, there was no more excitement for the day or pretty much for the rest of the week. Every day, everyone would meet up at Josh's house and go from there to the mall, movies or just hanging around arcades. The only day that they went without Josh is Thursday, because Glee practice. By Saturday Josh started hitting his head against the wall because he had no idea what to buy Cesar for Christmas. Christmas is on Tuesday and Josh is no closer to figuring out what the buy him t

Al went into the office early due to having a conference call with the Governor. They spoke on the phone for over two hours before the Governor went into his next meeting. He asked Al to speak with state legislators. The Governor wants to make sure they understand that they need to back legislation on the floor. Just as Al hung up the phone, it rang again. He answered it by putting it on the speaker because it's his secretary calling him. She is informing him that his first meeting of the day h

The locker room got completely quiet and every eye was on Jason and Coach Campbell. At that very moment, Jason realized that he wasn’t ready. He has no idea how his fellow teammates were going to react to the news. With his past history, some of them would react with silence, but snicker behind his back when they think he’s not listening. Others will tell him straight out to his face what a disgrace he is and he will have to shake it off and ignore those comments. And there will be those very fe

The Governor Elect checked on the boys before heading into the office. They are both sound asleep in their separate beds. He knows he can trust Josh on a lot of things, but sometimes love makes you forget common sense. That is what the Governor Elect is afraid of when it comes down to dealing with his son and his boyfriend. The Governor Elect got into the office so early the only one he saw was a person sitting in the lobby that he doesn't know. He ignored the guy and walked into his office. Mi

Harold woke up very discouraged from the events of the day before. He cannot believe that Beth and Dominic continue to escape his grasp. Every time they get them, they wiggle their way out. Harold is hoping that they didn’t do anything ugly with Joey that cannot be fixed. He just wants to get Joey back in one piece. After that he will deal with the after math of getting Beth and Dominic behind bars. He left the house before the kids woke up. Harold cannot stand seeing the hurt in his sons face.

(ALEJANDRO’S POINT OF VIEW) After leaving Mr. Hernandez's office, I went straight back to the dayroom. I found everyone in front of the TV watching a movie that one of the resident’s parents brought for us to watch. We are allowed to have our parents or family members bring movies that are not adult movies for us to watch over the weekend. This one resident parent’s rents all the new releases from Blockbuster every week and brings them to us to watch. That is one of the very few things we a

Franseca finished up dinner and placed it on the table. She called for Lorenzo and Ismail to come up from the game room to eat. She then walked over to the den and told Virginia that dinner is on the table. After leaving Virginia, Franseca went looking for the boys and only found Dewayne and Jacob in the TV room. Gloria and Andy Sr. sat at the table talking with Al as Jacob and Dewayne talked with each other. Lorenzo and Ismail being their normal selves were refusing to eat anything green on th

Jerry started to pace back and forth trying to think of a way out of the position he is currently in. He pushed hard for Favre. Now in his first game he has proven what Campbell has been saying all week about what is wrong with him. No matter what he says at this point, Favre’s actions have spoken for him. Actions that can’t be taken back or explained away. Still not sure what to do, he looked over at the window and waved at Favre to come back into the office. By the look on Campbell’s face, he

Chapter 26 As Josh made his way to the limousine, he didn't pay any attention to anything except Cesar and his friends. They couldn't believe that Josh's father actually arranged for them meet Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen in person! This has been a great day for them. As Josh and his friends got into their limousine and the guard detail closed the door they have no idea what is about to happen. Sirens went off and the limousines started to move at a crawl. All of a sudden, gunshots went off

Chapter 8 Joey pulled himself up fighting through all the pain going through his body. He walked over to the door and looked out the small window to see if anyone is out there. Joey walked back to where he slept and just stood there. He knows if he sits back down on the ground there is no way he is going to be able to pull himself up again. All of a sudden Joey heard soft knocking on the wall. The same wall that just the night before Joey talked with another person being forced to stay here ag

Timothy, Sorry for such a late response to your long spilled out comment about the way i write a story. One thing you have forgotten through it all is that it is a fictional story. I know better that more than half of what I write into my stories aren't believable or can't happen in real life. I watch a lot of television I mean a lot. Right now I am re-watching Greys Anatomy and let me tell you I am yelling at the television every night on how unbelievable the plot lines are. And that is not the only serious I do that to. Every serious does and puts things in their shows to create drama in order to bring back their viewers. I create drama in my stories to bring back my readers week after week. Just keep in mind Jacob Finding His Way is based off of my life but when you sit down and read you you have to realize the things I put my characters through, like in this story, is not believable but they are there for drama and nothing more than that. That is why I state time in and time again my stories are fictional. Thank you for your comment but please keep that in mind on what I just said. Thank you, J.P.G.

(BOBBY’S POINT OF VIEW) As soon as I finish breakfast, I am to be moved back to Building ‘A’. Somehow Alex came through for me, or should I say Mr. Flores. It doesn't matter because the only thing that means is that the rest of my time here will be relaxing. I gather the little stuff that I have here the infirmary. So where I will be ready the moment the guards come and get me. I am tired of being cooped up here in the infirmary all day long and not going anywhere. I turned as the door to

Dewayne sat next to Jacob on the bench and grabbed his hand. They sat there in silence looking off in the distance. People walked be and looked at Jacob and Dewayne for a few seconds and walked away. A few smiled with happiness in their eyes and other had disgust on their face. It didn’t matter to Jacob or Dewayne at all. They love just sitting there together holding onto each other. “You know something Dewayne, I have been thinking. I have come to several conclusions. One of which is if you lo

Most of the day Joey, Caleb and Harold worked on Joey’s house, making sure everything is secure. Harold wants to make sure on what had happened the night before will not happen again. Harold does realize if a person wants to get in, they will. Just he wants to make it as hard as possible for them to do so. Across town, Beth got woken up with banging on her door. At first she thought it is Dominic at the door, but remembered that Dominic left for out of town last night. She got up, put on her ni

Patrick had no idea what was going on. First he saw Jason and Spencer walking out and then shortly after them he saw Coach Campbell. He didn’t know if he should keep sitting there and wait for his turn or go. There was no way that he would know what he was signing if he did decide to wait since Spencer left with Jason without telling him what to do. Frozen in thought, Patrick just sat there staring out to nowhere in particular. Then he felt someone tapping his shoulder, bringing him back to the

(JOSHUA’S POINT OF VIEW) I can’t believe the last couple days have gone by so fast. Basically this week has been nothing but studying for the semester exams. Right before Thanksgiving, we had our six weeks exams, and now before Christmas, we will have our semester exams. Chris is doing pretty well blending back into the group. Every fear that I had is basically gone. Right now the only thing I'm worried about is Chris’ dad. Chris and the Coach got served a subpoena from Chris's dad. They

(ELIZABETH’S POINT OF VIEW) I couldn't believe that my father actually won my case in front of the school board. They rescinded my suspension and reinstated me back to El Paso High School. Of course, they made it very clear; I can’t get into any more trouble. If I do, I will be out of there and there is not a thing anyone can do about it. My father also got the school board to override my principal on me being in alternative class. When I return back to school I will have my regular schedu

(BERNICE’S POINT OF VIEW) After having breakfast, I headed to my room to get dressed. I decided today will be the day that I will sit down and speak with Josh about Chris. Chris is all alone, and I know, he put himself in the position he’s in right now. I won’t make any excuses for his behaviors regarding the relationship between him and Josh. All the way over to Josh’s house, I thought over how I'm going to talk with him about Chris. I know I am going to have to walk a razor thin line on

(CESAR’S POINT OF VIEW) Before I knew it, it is time for me to go. Friday evening through the night and all day Saturday went by way too fast. I enjoyed every single minute of it. I got treated like one of the family. That surprised me the most with Daniel and Carlos. I guess poor Chris took the brunt of it all. Although Josh’s father doesn't care we have sex or not as long as we are careful, Josh and I never got a chance to have any sex. I have never been as horny as I have been this weekend;

(DANIEL SR’s POINT OF VIEW) After Martha’s visit on Saturday morning that is all that anyone talked about in my house during the weekend. When I walked into the office on Monday, I couldn't be happier. I would rather take on a brigade of enemy troops firing at me than spend another minute of my life talking to Martha. I buried myself in work, and the first two days flew by quickly. Now it's Wednesday and Rich returns from Wyoming. He needed a few days off to put his affairs in order back home

(ERIC'S POINT OF VIEW) After school I found Bernice at the school parking lot waiting for me. She didn't see me coming, so I ran up right behind her to surprise her. I couldn't believe how far she jumped, or should I say how high she jumped, when I put my hands over her eyes and yelled out a dark bark. Bernice turned around and started hitting me over and over again. Calling me every curse word in the book, I never knew she had a mouth on her like that. I could do nothing more than laugh as sh
