Welcome back K.C. I liked that chapter too. I liked that Ash went after Michael and didnt give up at the elevator and let him go. I've read too many stories where sort of thing happens and it makes me nuts, lol.That they could salvage the evening and enjoy themselves was cool. Thanks for another great chapter. OK...ready now. I read these last two chapters a few days ago and kinda wanted to let them sink in. I loved it all.This entire book captivated me the beginning. Waiting oh so patiently for each chapter was worth it. The epilogue was great. To me it was the perfect ending of this story. "And I understood that--just maybe--the highest love I could give him would involve summoning the courage to trust what he'd been telling me. You are my fuckin' life, Andy. You've always been." That part right there said alot for me. Summoning the courage to trust. So thank you Adam, this is a truly great story and I am so glad you shared it with us.

OK I'm agreement with everyone else. That last line was great! It so perfectly captured what Michael is feeling. That last line has left me with a feeling of "lordy I cannot wait to see whats next" . Hot chapter KC, I loved it.

I like Ash's determination not to let the guy who shot win. And channeling his anger into getting better and pushing him forward. He still has a ways to go, but Ash's self awareness is a really good thing and I like seeing that.

I do love a good love story. This explains a lot more of Michael, so yay! I feel like I understand Michael and his attitude better. It feels like he's set for self destruct, but slowly with Ash's help he will redeem himself. I love a character who is flawed, its so much more real. Thanks for this chapter. K.C.

Great bath scene! Quite hot! I like that Ash is keeping things at a slow pace right now. I like what he had to say to Michael about their (inevitable?) first time. I too, wouold like to know more about Michael , what he like away from Ash, some hints into his younger years. I like knowing more depth about the characters in a story. Well done K.C. another great chapter.
