Forget the meds, alcohol + Blake = disaster. An unintentional coming out (in more ways then one) to Derrick... The scene with Haze and Blake at the end is the icing on the cake, though. Wonder what the morning will be like?

Jealousy. I don't blame Blake at all for feeling that way, either. I don't like "Patty". I don't like Derrick, either. Drinking + pills = disaster. I can feel it.

Chapter title is completely fitting to the content of the chapter. I don't blame Blake for feeling used - I would too. I hope Nats doesn't try anything else - it would be way too awkward between her and Blake if she did. Then, getting caught eavesdropping? Maybe "shit" isn't enough to describe this day in Blake's life.

Such a tease.. I think you could cut through the tension between the two with a knife. I really enjoy the scenes between 'Real' Haze and Blake, you really do get a glimpse of what they would be like as a couple (minus the affection). I still can't get over that tease. I mean... Oh whatever, I'll still "gobsmacked" (I think the word was?) from the nice cliffhanger at the end. Like I said, tease. This story is amazing so far so I don't mind.

It's now I realise the point of view from which the story is told: an omniscient witness to all the events. It really allows you (the author) to properly convey the emotions/feelings/thoughts that people are feeling, rather then the assumptions from the narrator as to what others might be feeling. Looks like Haze really is both a positive and negative influence on Blake - he is the one who got him on and off the drugs, after all.

... and so the usage of drugs begins. I hope Blake doesn't stick to these too long/gets addicted. I also hope that things don't go too badly with Haze. By the way, you're doing a great job with the pace of the story and character development . -

Oh if only Haze knew the implications of the questions he was asking... Blake has courage to face his insecurities and take his shirt off like that, espescially in front of the love interest! Another great chapter! -
Looks like Haze knows the power of distractions This almost makes me want to go diving, but I know deep down that I'd only go if my own Haze was there to guide me, lost little tourist I'd be 8/16 Chapters (so far).. I can't wait (but loathe at the same time) until I reach the last chapter!

Looks like Blake's got another part of Haze figured out, with his two "modes" or "statues" (I have no idea what to call them). More bonding between Blake and Haze!

I've never taken anti-anxiety medication but from the description of it, it's something to consider taking daily just to keep all the feelings and the pain away. I don't like this "Penelope" character. Not at all. I do like story development, though!

It's glad to see that both of them are keeping each other's secrets - bonding is good. Two panic attacks in a day must be agony! (I am hooked to this story, if it's not obvious already )

From experience, I can say that distractions are the best way to ward off bad/depressing thoughts, but I've never had a panic attack (and by the description of it, accurate or not, I wouldn't want to, either). Another side of the mystery that is Haze is revealed and we learn a bit more about Blake. So far, so good

"‘Girlfriend’. Second worst word in the English language, after ‘wife’." Completely agree with this one I have a feeling Nats is going to be an issue and I wonder who this mystery man is! Obvious attraction is obvious, poor Blake, he's in for it. -
Another awesome chapter First day of work, so far so good and then bang, a love intrest appears! ...and a fine one at that! Something tells me that Blake's going to have a hard time with this. Can't wait for the next one.

First chapter and I'm hooked! So far what we're told about Blake I can relate to, to a certain extent. After that, the writing style (as stated before) is just so easy. I have a feeling the only thing I'm going to regret from starting to read this (so far, great) story is that I'm going to agonize over the fact that it's not completed yet Wonder what the love intrest will be like. -

For some reason I end up fixated on the ad as if it was interesting... even though I've probably seen said ad multiple times before. I usually have no trouble at all falling asleep, but it's almost always a dreamless sleep (or dreams I can't remember). It's a fair trade-off if you ask me, though.
