  1. Pottermore was a bit of a disappointment, apparently. I didn't actually bother watching the video. :C

    Chapter 1

Really great start on this! I enjoyed the idea of a shadow chaser, and I want to learn more about this Queen person. I too think that muscles were mentioned a lot, and I don't mind that, but maybe if instead you described other aspects of their strength/build/physicality without specifically mentioning their muscles? Perhaps just the force of the actions or something? Just tossing some stuff out there. (: Besides that, I liked the sly, flirty competativeness when Shade and Garrett were fighting. It makes for a really interesting aspect, compared with mere brute fist fighting. (; I look forward to the next chapter! c:
  3. No, I think I agree. Teenagers are typically hormone-led and do tend to fear what other people think of them, as a large generality. Yet the understanding with which some of these teens settle arguments and accept each other is beyond my comprehension. Still, I can't say I mind for the most part. These are written as a way to escape, and I guess a lot of us are suckers for happy endings. (: Or beginnings, as you mentioned, Dannsar. Maybe not always one hundred percent realistic, but the writing is entertaining, which is all I'm looking for!
  4. I can indeed! I'll add it to the main post as soon as I get something written up. Not gonna be spoiling anything, though. Oh, and by the way, if any of you were wondering what Nate looks like, he's there in my icon. Well... Nate with panda ears is my icon, haha. P:

I'm so glad you liked it. (: Thank you very much for your review! > w< I believe I've dug myself into a hole, haha. Well, I guess I'll have to! I love these guys too much not to write more about them.
  6. Hi everyone! This is a discussion thread for my first story, The Fairnival. Check it out and leave comments, yeah? (: The Fairnival is a oneshot, side story to the main story, F-Bomb (It hasn't been written yet, but is still in a planning stage). I hope you enjoy!

Thank you so much for the review! They're a bunch of hard cases, but I love them. (: I'm really glad you like the dialogue. I had hoped to make it seem really genuine, for the type of people they are. Hopefully I'll get something on the go to give you more about them. (:

The fucking carnival. Of course, Joaquin called it ‘the fair’ The twerp was from another part of town, though, so hadn't grown up with the same conventions as Nate -- therefore, different names for things (In actuality, Nate wasn't one for synonyms). The fairnival, as Nate so cleverly decided to call it, was packed full of screaming, teeming masses of sticky, bloodthirsty children. Jabar had made a few comparisons with zombies, and nobody disagreed. They weren't the only young adults there witho

    The Fairnival

It was supposed to be a fun day at the carnival. The fair? No, it's a carnival. Who calls it a fair? Tch. Mixed feelings and new drama! Has this pair's secret finally come out?
  10. I just bought my tickets for the midnight release... (: I'm beyond excited for it. I can't wait, but I'm really really sad that it's coming to an end. :c
  11. I'm actually really embarrassed as a Canadian for what happened. It's a shame that the rioting happened again. I'm not really an avid hockey fan, but Michael Ryder is a Newfoundlander, so to me it didn't matter -- both would be a win in my books, as a supporter. In any case, congrats to the winners and their fans. (:
  12. The first time I ever really hammered out a story was during NaNoWriMo. Even then, I only actually finished a story my second time around. So, I guess a deadline helps with me. Though, I'm a bit weird -- I tend to get into swings of creativity where I just want to write and come up with these amazing creations, and then it dwindles for a few months. Then I'm back on the writing bandwagon, and if I get motivated enough, like yesterday, I actually finish a story. Haha. Deadlines help with me. I used to listen to music, but I'm not really sure how much that helps anymore.
  13. I'm listening to I See Girls... :I It's catchy and... Well, I don't even know. D: I have no excuse. Hah.
  14. This topic's making me hungry. o: I usually spin the top off of my oreo, lick or scrape out the cream and then eat the chocolate. I also delved in the practice of dunking my oreos, but I prefer to do that with chocolate chip cookies.
  15. My moment is purely humiliating... I was in grade six, and it was really my first and only time on the basketball team. I got a rebound, being a friggin' giant back then... I thought, "Pivot, plant your foot, aim..." And shot the ball right into the other team's net. D: My coach was so mad and the other team started cheering for us. But we ended up winning the game so it wasn't so bad. I guess.
