The Legend of Schrodinger’s Queer
GWood commented on Dayne Mora's story chapter in The Legend of Schrodinger’s Queer
Although others have already said it, I have to add that I will never be able to look at Schrodinger’s Cat the same way ever again. Excellent writing! -
You raise an interesting, quite philosophical, and highly controversial set of questions with this story. Do our gods shape our beliefs or do our beliefs shape our gods? And are there really gods or are we just imagining things? And how do we change our belief systems to accommodate the presence or absence of gods (or supernatural spirits)? And how much influence do we as mortals have to change the "spiritual world"? Is it very little or everything? And how much influence do our spirits/souls really have in the afterlife, if there is an afterlife? And do we as either humans or spirits end up bowing down to (or following) a "god" because we don't realize how much power each of us really has in shaping the future, both physically and spiritually? And do our spirits really reflect what our thoughts were as humans? And lastly--do we really need religion (and priests, and places of worship) to come to know and commune with god? Oh such a tantalizing set of questions....

I hate you! (just kidding) Now we have to wait another five days.... (not happy) Maybe the next chapter is already written and you can post sooner?

Echoing what others have said--great chapter, and all of them have been excellent! But this one gives even more insight into JJ and Brad. I've always had a "thing" for Brad [and it's not just the size of the body parts ] so it's good to hear more about what he feels and how he's progressed from 9/11 in this series. But it's also sad to see Brad and Sean have to throttle back what could be a really good (intense, loving, caring) relationship. Relationships like this are always difficult for those who are between "young" and "old" (definition depends on who's reading this) and near the peak of their careers. Maybe (hope?) there's something in the future for these two. And, even though it's already (almost) too difficult to remember who's related to whom, maybe Sean's family/background/history can be added to further enhance the story?....

Well worth the wait--and you shouldn't apologize for a well-written (and well-edited) story. Cannot wait to see what happens next, but do take the time needed to tell the story--you've just added another dimension that others saw, but I didn't. Don't know why I'm like this, but I always like to see those who "cause problems" get their just rewards. We are all looking forward to what comes next.

Something makes me think this is somewhat autobiographical.... All I can say is that I hope it turns out well for Corbin (you?), but the ending makes me want to think differently.

Oh how I want to see Wylie (aka "baby Cujo"--I laughed hard at that term) in action. Something tells me he'll add some extra dynamics to the Timber Pack. And Stan and Buck have to weigh into this mix, too. I'm always rooting for the underdogs.

ANY of the Hemsworth brothers, though Chris with tamed hair does it for me.

Still working on Part 3. Yes, it's been a long time. Have hit something of a dry spell in the writing, but (hopefully) that's going to turn around soon. (Spring is here.) Unfortunately it'll probably be around the end of the summer before it's all written and edited. Sorry for the extended wait, but I'd like to get it all as perfect as I can get it before releasing. It's a personal story that isn't easy to write, so it's taking longer than usual. And thanks for the reviews--the encouragement from you and others has been a great help to me in telling this story.

Thoroughly fascinating story with soooo much detail. Love it. Echo the "superb story" from kajean. Keep up the amazing work. And keep up the parallels to our own oligarchy that seems to be taking over politics.

To Mark (and also your team), thanks again for another superb chapter. I have always loved how all the storylines flow so effortlessly around and through each other. These past few chapters have been extremely powerful as all the characters finally work through the emotions of 9/11. It's especially good to see how quickly Matt has grown up. But at the same time I can't help thinking about how hot it would be for Matt, Wade, and Brad to be in a three-way....

Spring Confessions - Prompt 313
GWood commented on comicfan's story chapter in Spring Confessions - Prompt 313
"Oh my" as someone famous would say. This has so much potential. Please, please, please, continue this thought and give us a story. Doesn't have to be long, but the thought can't be lost. -
MORE! (please)

Mark, my thanks (everyone's thanks) again to you and your team for how you handled all the aspects of 9/11. With these notes we finally begin to see the immense effort that it took to write this story and the emotional toll that came along with it. It has been tough to see these characters go and to see the lingering aftershocks, but the story, as always, was incredibly enjoyable--oh so much more enjoyable than War and Peace. May whatever muse or spirit that inhabits your heart and mind continue to give you the inspiration and awesome writing capabilities for the next installment of CAP. We can only wonder what you have up your sleeve for that one....

Jeez, 45 minutes learning about how to anally pleasure another man. Hmmm, if an author's writing is based on what he himself knows, I really need to talk to you....
-
Mark, many thanks to you for your writing and to your editors/beta readers for their efforts, too. We are truly blessed at having your writings on this site. Entertaining, suspenseful, exotic and erotic. Truly looking forward to your next installment (and your continuation of 9.11). Many thanks again.

Background sounds near the end of the chapter: cannon fire from the battle of the Nile as depicted in "Odyssey." :-) And Frank is finally back!

Until this chapter, I too had held out some hope that Robbie was still alive, primarily because one of those WTC staircases from the fourth story down did manage to withstand the fall of the building around it. (And I purposely didn't try to find out which one it was so I could hold on to some hope for Robbie, Jeanine, and Hank.) As the story progressed, I had figured out that we were probably seeing the last of Jeanine and Hank. Seeing them gone is bad in its own way, but seeing Robbie taken too was almost too much. This chapter, through all its introspection and emotion, truly helped me cope with the loss of these people. While they may only be characters in a story, in the minds of some people they represent real people, and real emotions go with the loss of these people, especially in such a horrific way. My sincerest THANK YOU for your tasteful handling of the whole situation.

Unwanted at 48 dating gorgeous at 35 or 26--I think that's totally dependent on the people, the situation, east coast vs west coast vs "heartland", whether the people are really in love or infatuated with (huge) body parts, or it's someone who wants a trophy (younger or older). Sometimes it works, and sometimes it's just "ewwww." Any of relationships in this story would work, but sometimes it just isn't meant to be. (And I think what I've just written can also be "gender blind.") On your note about wanting Jim--you made me chuckle. Sometimes I want Jim too, but he has so many problems in relationships that all I can think is "Run away, run away...."

Thanks for the continued compliments. Hope you don't hate me for Chap 35 though....

Chapter 35 When I hear Mike's quiet voice, my first instinct is to quickly pull my hand away from Jeff's chest. I feel guilty just for touching him, and as the guilt grows, it makes me feel like I'm going to burn in hell for all eternity. At the same time, the adrenaline kicks in and I get that nervous 'OH SHIT' feeling because I'm about to meet Mike. And then there are all of the other emotions which are running rampant through my brain and body. So, in about two seconds, I've gone from r

Chapter 34 (quiet beep) 'Hey, Jim, how are you?' Oh, that voice I love to hear so much. Haven't talked to him in a while. 'I'm doing well, Chad. And you?' 'Doing okay. Hey, I'm calling to ask for a favor. Can you come help me replace. . . .' (beep) 'Do what?' 'Come help me replace the toilet and the bathtub in my apartment?' (Beep) Toilet and bathtub? What the f? Apartment? What happened to his townhouse? 'Can't you get the landlord to do that?' 'He doesn't want to,

Chapter 33 While walking through the dining room to the lodge's front door, Jeff makes a slight detour to visit Vicky at the greeter's station. When he moves up behind her and gently wraps his arm around her waist, she jumps slightly and then laughs when she sees who it is. He leans down and whispers something into her ear, then lets go, tips his hat and walks toward me. She smiles tentatively at him, looks around for me, and waves to both of us as we leave the lodge. Just outside the doo

Chapter 32 It's a quiet, comfortable walk from our cabins to the lodge. As we weave our way around the cars in the parking lot, small breezes flow gently over us every so often, helping to calm my nerves. About halfway across the parking lot at a spot where we're walking beside each other, a slow breeze blows across Jeff and directly to me. The gentle scent from him makes me think, 'Damn, he's even wearing my favorite cologne.' When we get to the entrance to the lodge, Jeff is a perfect g

Chapter 31 I lean back against the door and sigh as I untie and kick off my hiking boots. I'm tired and dusty, and I just want a long, hot shower to chase away the pain of both hikes. I even briefly think about taking a short nap after the shower and before dinner, but decide there really isn't enough time. I walk forward into the dimly-lit cabin and flip on the main light switch. Light from a couple of lights in the ceiling and a couple of lamps near the couch floods the room, chasing th
