So, this is my first review here. I absolutely love your story and its characters; every time I find a new chapter I instantly have to read it. I think it's an incredibly well structured story, and I like the way you usually end a newly posted chapter: it leaves something open, there are unsolved questions (sometimes brought up just before the chapter ends) but the chapter itself is always coherent. Your style is also quite addictive as you manage to portray the characters through their actions so convincingly.
I'm curious what comes next. One thing I was amazed to read in this chapter was that Scott and Charlie are going out only a little over a month but perhaps I have to re-read the preceding chapters.
What I find, well, kind of relieving is the fact that the age difference between Charlie and Scott isn't an issue per se. They acknowledge each other as partners and so does Charlie's family; even when Scott tells Charlie about Andrew it doesnt't come up as problematic, for the pain Scott feels when he thinks about his former partner's death and Charlie's doubts about himself are actually more important.
Looking forward to the next chapter!
