Some of it is close to home. I moved to Canada at the age of fifteen, like Robbie and in similar circumstances, but I didn't have a Tom to complicate things.
Congratulations @Ianstarlight on reading 173 chapters, and thank you for your beautifully written, insightful, and entertaining comments . They are always a joy to read.
Maybe it was wrong for Robbie to go back to Nathan. He should have learned his lesson and moved on, instead of believing in something that wasn't there.
Thank you for your wonderful comments. @IanstarlightIt's always a joy to read them, even if I'm a few days behind. Forgive me if I don't reply to every one of them.
After the despair of the previous chapters, there is hope in the form of a much-needed counsellor. Jo may be a little unorthodox, but she's the real deal and has the power to help Robbie.
Thank you again @Ianstarlight for another beautiful comment. This chapter was difficult to write, and when I read it again, I'm also emotional. Maybe it was a cry for help, and Nicola will make sure he receives it, but no one knows how close he was to going through with it, not even Robbie.
It probably would have been different had Robbie been allowed to stay in England. His relationship with Tom may have flourished, but the distance made it impossible.
Thank you once again, @Ianstarlight for your kind words and encouragement. I am so pleased you are enjoying the story. Your comments are always beautiful to read.
