Jeha’s Delinquents Jeha passed out before they reached their destination. Axel checked his vitals with a deep frown. “What is it?” Ryan asked from the front passenger seat. Ryan held a walkie-talkie, and his attention was on the black SUVs ahead of them. Axel assumed he was talking to his colleagues, so he worked on resting Jeha’s head back against the backseat. He checked Jeha’s left wrist and was glad to discover an expensive watch. He removed it from Jeha’s wrist and

3-1 Magnus rode his horse like a man possessed when he received news of Azula’s plan to counter the robberies plaguing the clan. He rode fast on busy cobbled paths, his assistant shouting warnings to save anyone who did not notice his haste. Yaitan’s workshop was where Azula managed his devious plans. The young man was probably stirring up a large force of trouble. The thought of the consequences had Magnus urging his horse into a faster pace. Yaitan’s workshop was hidden in a cav

Ch 2-1 A majestic mountain stood in the middle of the Sura Island. Under this mountain, a series of tunnels existed. These tunnels were built in the hundreds of years the Sura Clan had called the island home. Generations came, passed their knowledge to the youngsters, and moved on. Youngsters grew up and taught the next generation. The cycle continued until mining and working with ore became a way of life for the Sura. The Sura Clan lived with deep loyalties to family. Axel Wakes up to a Rude Surprise Axel left the hospital on Friday morning with only three goals. Food, shower, and sleep. Axel stopped at the restaurant in front of his building because he knew the chef. It was early, but she always had ingredients in her pantry for him. Chef Suzie took one look at him and came out minutes later with his usual order of Thai chicken soup and a veggie sandwich to go with it. He thanked her with a grin and blew her a kiss. Food dealt with,

Arc 1: The Case of the Forged Silver Coins Chapter 1 -1 The air was rife with the scent of burning wood, baking bread, fried fish, and fresh wood shavings. All of it mixed in the wind, but the baker crossing the cobbled street paid no mind to these mixed scents. He was used to them, having worked in the busy markets of the capital city, Genad, all his life. Instead, he hurried into the exchange bureau with a spring in his step. The baker carried four bags filled with silver from h

An illustrious parliament in the capital city of Genad helped the Basileus manage the empire and its people. The prime minister, assisted by fifteen cabinet ministers, led Lyria’s imperial government and answered to the Basileus. The imperial parl

Yes!! Happy New Year 2024! I'm hoping we all have a wonderful one. I've been away from the site since last year. I wasn't in the headspace to continue, but I'm back and looking forward to completing Tani and Dante's journey. Thank you for waiting and for reading this story. All my love 💖, Sui.

Starting out is always....🫠 still, I'm glad you're all reading Jeha and Axel's story. @Cane23 You've found me out 🤭 . Yes, the story is set in the Kingdom of Aeras. It was meant to be a submission to an anthology or prompt on this site, but I was overcome and missed the deadline. Hahaha. I liked the characters, so I'm putting them out now. I love the fictitious world of Aeras and wondered what it would be like to explore it in a different light. I may cameo Leon and Logan, but we'll see. I'm so excited you remember HRH Leon and Logan. It makes me all warm and excited. Thank you so much for reading.

Yes, Jeha has a bit of baggage with Moon. It's expected, but Maria and Yisu love him too much

Jeha and the Wook Family Legacy A week later, a nurse emerged from a private hospital room at the Wuga Hospital. She removed her gloves and threw them into the surgical bin against the hallway wall. The nurse pressed on the sanitizer dispenser mounted above the bin and turned to her right, heading to the nursing station. She stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening when she saw ten men walking toward her. Jeha Wook was used to this reaction on the nurses’ faces. The ten men follow

After a strange anticlimactic kidnapping, Axel Graysen is pulled into the tumultuous world of the Wook Family. Axel treats Jeha Wook’s gunshot wound and ends up treating the oddly large team of brothers who work for Jeha. The problem is that Jeha’s people seem like delinquents, and Jeha is the largest delinquent. Axel worries about keeping the man he likes from getting hurt again.

Dr. Graysen endures Rapture’s Damage. Dr. Axel Graysen sat on a concrete slab near the railing on the roof of the Wuga Hospital. Sipping orange juice from a bottle he filled at the cafeteria, he stared at the dark sky and the rising full moon gracing the Kingdom of Aeras with its brilliance tonight. Their Capital City was going to be bright this Thursday night. Veteran doctors at the Wuga Hospital insisted a full moon meant the Emergency Room would fill with the craziest medical e

Chapter Sixteen Dante loved everything about the farmhouse in the middle of an apple orchard. From the kitchen filled with herbs growing in little pots on the window seal, the antique cooking range and the oven spelled into baking potatoes in the afternoon like clockwork. “What happens if I put in something else to bake?” Dante asked when Tani pulled out a tray of four large baked potatoes the first day. “Will it let me?” “It will,” Tani said. “This is Cale’s sense of humor.

Chapter Fifteen Dante checked the approval forms he held again, smiling at the sight of his faculty dean’s signature and the stamp of approval. He was very grateful his boss liked him. He also wanted to thank Thomas for his firm support. Otherwise, it would have taken weeks to get his sabbatical approved. “Thank you for your support,” Dante said, folding the forms neatly as they walked. “I didn’t think Dean Travis would agree so easily.” “Dean Travis values your contributi

lilansui posted new chapter in The Reluctant Consort
The Empire's Three Days of Thanksgiving - Part 2 On the second day of thanksgiving, Kastan woke up to the sweet warmth of Jihan sleeping next to him. The sun was rising in the horizon, filling the living area of their chambers with soft light. Kastan propped his head up with his left hand, and watched Jihan sleep. Since their afternoon yesterday, they had a quiet evening meal, took a bath together, and then made love. It reminded him of the days when they first got together in Kin Town- 15 comments

Happy New Year Theo! It really is a feel good chapter. He gets bored with Bast. Neith is fun but right now she's sort of wanting to stay at Sun-filled Manor for a little R&R. I imagine her getting over this funk later and running around on adventures with Shan, Yan, Yija and Byul. I think that would be fun. Yay! Happy New Year! May you get loads of good luck in this new year too! Happy New Year too! May your year be filled with good luck and many blessings too. -

Life's like that, hahaha. It was fun getting back to them. I know, finally I got them out. I have tried to capture all the little leftovers, but the story has ended up a bit dynamic. I feel like if I continue, Rashan might even get married hahaha. Thank you so much for reading this story and thinking about it. Happy New Year! Neith is strong. She has Ha. I suppose she's the bittersweet character of this story. It happens. Everyone else is doing their best to live it up. I'm glad you enjoyed it. -

The Empire’s Three Days of Thanksgiving - Part 1 The season of thanksgiving arrived six months after Laner’s visit to Sun-filled Manor. The Empire was alive with a festive mood. Families made plans to visit home, cook extraordinary feasts and give thanks for their blessings. Prince Byul of Tanad Kingdom left Sun-filled Manor to visit his parents guarded by a troop of the Silver Shore Valley’s elite soldiers. He would spend his three days of thanksgiving with his mother and father.- 15 comments

Chapter Fourteen Christophe and Landi stood. Their gazes wide for different reasons as they took in Tani. “It is you,” Landi said in greeting, moving away from the island table and facing Tani. “You are Ryuzo?” Tani smiled. “Yes. It has been a long time, young Landi,” Tani said. “How have you been?” Landi took a few steps forward and took Tani’s right hand, holding it with both hands as he studied Tani. “Extraordinary thanks for your help. You haven’t aged one

Chapter Thirteen Anit Izuna returned to the Ekho Realm in a state of annoyance. The earth goddess, Eren, left her with a bitter taste in her mouth. Eren’s words spread a pile of salt over her unhealed cuts. Tani’s predicament in the mortal realm always left Anit feeling incapable. She stood in the back gardens at the fox clan’s log house and stared at the thousands of apple trees she had planted these last thousand years. Thinking of Tani stuck in the mortal realm, unable to visi
