Rashan is surely a hero! He is one special kid, I think this chapter was all him impressing courtiers, for when his time comes. I truly loved writing for him. Thank you for reading this story. It's been nice getting back to it, and helped me find some glaring typos which had me fixing them.

I love your 10-Point Structure. Thank you for sharing it!

Viola is The villain is coming to explain soon 🙂 Uncle Amu left so Tani did it 👏 I promise a Dante and Tani festival for the next chapters, 😁

Chapter Ten A storm ravaged the island late Tuesday night, rain falling into the early hours of Wednesday. A whispered ‘help’ woke Tani from a deep sleep. He sat up on his bed and listened to the raging rain. The trees in the forest around them broke most of it… The plea for help came again, and he got out of bed. Closing his eyes, he listened, and once it came again, he followed it, teleporting to the overflowing river in the middle of the conservancy. The waters had s

Chapter Nine Nora led Dante to the basement the evening after Tani left Artri House. Nora led the way to the bookshelves and stopped at one written Artri Lineage. She held out her left hand to Dante. “I need to borrow your power,” Nora said. “Why?” Dante asked. “Your grandmaster checks mine. I have secrets I have hidden here,” Nora said. “I believe it is time to give them to you.” “After this, will you approve of me pursuing Tani Ryuzo?” Dante asked, meeting his mo

Tani does have a very strained relationship with his parents. Their side of the story is coming up soon. Anit does try her best to connect with Amu. Very interesting how heritage can be so important, yet so punishing...Tani's ended up making his own family in the mortal realm. Everyone wants to come for dinner He is half fox and half immortal lord. Anit will show up soon to explain herself, Right? Tani's out here telling it like it is. So proud of this. I'll keep working on it. Hera is a queen. She's Tanis' biggest fan.

Yes, I had to keep reminding myself they were not yet together yet. Hahaha. True, Tani still thinks Dante is with Viola. They need a proper talk soon. As for Dante going to the Ekho Realm....hmmmmm Makes me want to live there, just for the adventure, as long as I don't get singed. hahaha

Chapter Eight Tani was grateful when his feet sunk into the soft texture of the Turkish carpet in the living room of his house. Hera dropped into the closest armchair. Resting her head back, her eyes closed as she fought back the effects of his abrupt teleport. “Why did we run from there?” she asked after a moment. “Call Tom and tell him not to go to Artri House,” Tani said. Hera reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone. She dialed Tom and caught him in the parking l

I always get these characters everyone dislikes on sight, hahaha. I'm finding Dante and Tani are responding a lot to what's happened to them. I can't wait to get them to the part they start making the waves together instead.

They are so fun, Thanks @Danilo Syrtis

Chapter Seven Tears, Tani scoffed. He could not wipe them away because Dante held his elbows, locked in a conduit spell. Shaking his head, he cursed under his breath and met Dante’s curious gaze. “What else hurts?” Dante asked, still taking Tani’s pain. The heavier wave of discomfort eased. Tani found it easier to wrestle his considerable power into staying locked within the prison the binding spell created using the gold cuffs on his wrists. Forced his very life force to st

@centexhairysub From my point of view, you've always commented the story journey with me, leaving thoughtful insights on each chapter. When the review does come, I already know why it is rated the way it is, because you were with me at every step of the way as I posted each chapter. I do value that ongoing conversation you leave on each chapter, very much. And I know I fail to say it enough times, but I find the comments useful, and I thank you for the reviews you do leave me.

Chapter Six Cale left the Arturo Vineyard and went straight to the towering Palladium Gates hidden in the vast sandy dunes of the oldest desert in the world, The Namib. The Sentinel who lived at the gates guarding the gates appeared at Cale’s approach. Sahdrina, daughter of The Namib, was the guardian of lost souls who wandered to the Palladium Gates. Sahdrina was as old as Cale, as secretive, if not more. She governed the border into the Ekho with an iron fist. Cale frowned

Chapter Five The power filling the olive grove felt massive, unimaginably strong. It enveloped the olive grove, stifling everything it met. Dante ran fast, determined to stop it, before this enormous power reached his mother or Hasim in the vineyard. He chose to use the same spell he used at Viola’s house. Adding a bit more energy into it made the heat burn hot. He needed to contain and incapacitate this being. A shout reached him as he raced by a thick cluster of olive tr

Chapter Four Tani sat in the library until the sun disappeared on the horizon. Night filled the skies and the house with light from the wall lamps. The library door opened, and in walked a tall man. Tani looked at him because it was the first motion in the room. The tall man was dressed in a black tailored shirt and dark trousers. His feet are in leather sandals. His red shoulder-length hair was in a short bun. The light from the lamps illuminated his chiseled features; h

Fourteen “I’m on a boat heading to the mainland,” Himura reported to Raphael. “The cargo cave is secure. Our man activated the steel security doors on the outside. I left him at the beach with incoming reinforcements. He’ll alert our network.” “Lucian?” Raphael asked, rubbing his brow at the thought of the Pajari brothers. “He left the moment he realized you were gone,” Himura said. “I’ll take a commercial flight to Sri Lanka. No need to wait for me.” “Okay, see you

Thank you @Danilo Syrtis I have made the change. Looks like I was too excited to post. 😁😁 @seakinkletsthank you for reading. Each story I write is a new journey. Often in different worlds. I lingered a longtime in The Reluctant Consort. It hasn't been easy to get away from Jihan and Kas. Thousand Years is my attempt to get going. Give it a chance. I will work hard not to disappoint.😉

@Aditusthank you so much for this wonderful review of The Reluctant Consort. It made my day. I am sorry for discovering it a month later. 💐💐 Thank you. -
Chapter Three Dante studied the tall sycamore tree on the edge of Viola’s property. It should have burned leaves and branches, but it did not. It was safe and looked…greener. The powerful presence he felt on the tree had protected it from his fire spell. The unharmed tree was the only evidence he could use to verify the powerful aura that seeped into his house, forcing him outside in search. Shaking his head, he returned to the house, closing and locking the ki
