Lothar is an interesting character. In truth, Edwin should be cautious about him, I understand why Mildburg would give him the protection. Yet, it's telling, when Edwin hurts Lothar, his first instinct was to remove that gem and be sorry. Lothar grows on me, I am curious about him. The search for Ida continues...
-
Lothar is definitely not fair, Edwin's soul is suddenly on the table...it's dancing-with-a-demon hehehe
-
Oh, Edwin has been duped! That was some dream, I'm sad for him, this creature using his desires like that, wow. On a side note Ida's sister is awesome 👌
-
Great start. Ida disappearing like that, how mysterious. I understand Edwin's need to find her, it's starting a puzzle.

Thank you, Mawgrim. It felt right to explore the pandemic a bit while adding a bit of romance magic.

Prompt 447 – Creative Tag – The Gift You haven’t been feeling well lately, but you still try to keep up with your normal routine. You’ve been asked to a party, and although you don’t feel well, you decide to go. The only request is that as a gift you give something homemade. What do you give as your gift? Lemonade and Kisses Promising Forever Fridays always felt festive. Spencer arranged the bunch of colorful zinnias in the vase standing on a table near the front hall. He moved

A short story about Leonardo and Spencer who have longed for each other, silently supporting each other not knowing they liked each other. Spencer invites Leonardo to a party at his house and they end up confessing to each other. This story is a Prompt Response.

I suppose, though it does happen in real life too, it does take effort though, even when it seems that it shouldn't.

I hear you, and on a scale as wide as the whole world, it's crazy stuff.

Having used sugar in place of salt quite recently, I feel Collum. 😆 This was so fun to read. Robby is too sweet, especially after tasting some salty banana bread.

Extra 1 - The Ghost of Jian, the Duchess of Silver Shore Valley
lilansui posted new chapter in The Reluctant Consort
The Ghost of Jian, Duchess of Silver Shore Valley Sun-filled Manor’s hidden wing was connected to the locked door along the corridor leading to the front door. Jihan had ignored that locked door. No, that wasn’t right. To be honest, he had not thought about the locked door until now. Kastan worried Jihan wasn’t fit to be running around the valley yet, so he had insisted Jihan stay close to the manor. Jihan did not like being confined indoors. He missed checking on the farms and- 14 comments

Sui armored in sunglasses and an umbrella to hide face says: --> So, this was not an intentional cliffhanger. In my defense, I chose the wrong date on the scheduler and it ended up like this...all is well, with His Grace, proceed to chapter 30. I'll add in some shorts of love and sweetness and peach wine to make it up. 😎
-
Even an itty bitty one? 😁😁 I've scared myself too with how many of those I've written in this one. The cliff hangers happened because the editing took too long I ended up making people wait. Hahaha. This is absolutely amazing to know about. I wish him loads of blessings. I'll finish the shorts first, before I think of anything else. Been so consumed with Jihan and Kastan...I'll have to see what other project I can get to. Thank you again for reading.

Chapter 30 What Does Home Feel Like? Neith released Yoru from her control. The eagle flew high to perch on the trees growing above the lush garden. He waited for the three who were now hauling an unconscious Jihan up. When Jihan was on the bridge, Kastan lifted Jihan and carried him to the open meadow, placing him on the grass. “An,” Kastan said, shaking Jihan’s shoulders, as he checked on the harsh wound on Jihan’s left temple. “An, don’t you dare. Open your eyes. Firuz, get

Chapter 29 Rushi’s Downfall, Andiya’s Son, and Nisa’s Revenge Jihan woke to the sight of Kastan and Firuz having a meal at a familiar table. They sat opposite each other at the table Jihan and Kastan used on their wedding night. Jihan smiled, staying still, choosing to watch his man and his Shadow Guard talk. Kastan looked so good in the lamp light. Handsome, dashing, looking at him made Jihan’s heart flutter; he smiled, clutching the covers. Kastan’s dark hair was damp from a

Chapter 28 Commander of Armies’ Evidence Rashan stood on a round platform at the front of the massive court, his fingers bunching his robes on the sides. Behind him, court officials filled the hundreds of seats arranged in the large hall. He had given up trying to count the number. All he could think was that there were many courtiers helping the Emperor govern the Empire of Akasha. One day, he was supposed to join their ranks, but right now, he felt like an ant that they were a

Rushi makes a final move Jihan’s heart pounded with anxiety as they approached the main Imperial Palace gates. Palace guards stood alert, holding the line in front of the closed massive gates. Bringing his horse to a stop, Jihan’s gaze searched the square in front of the tall walls, wondering where Rashan was waiting. The square was filled with visitors to see the palace, moving carts, and officials arriving at the palace. The Duke’s Coach was nowhere in sight. Was he late?
