  3. Oi! I would like to see you give teaching a go! Everyone judges teachers so harshly, you do not understand what we have to endure on a daily basis. It's a hard enough job withouth the c&@p and the judgement of the public all of which believe they know best.

  11. I know this, but I can't remember where from! It's from a mystery book, although it does also sound like something that The Doctor would say (yes, I'm a geek)

  13. Yep its Harry Potter, Dumbledore said it if that helps
  14. Gawd no!!!! Trying not to be offended by that! Lol
  15. This didn't happen to me, but to my mum and nan. When my great grandfather died (we called him Bluey because of his red hair, as you do) my Mum was in the bathroom getting ready for work. She said that she felt someone touch her arm and then whisper "take care of your Mum for me" just before the phone rang telling her that he passed away in his sleep. Fifteen years later my Nan had a similar experience when my great grandmother died. She was also in the bathroom and she looked into the mirror and saw her mother standing behind her. She told her to "Look after those girls" referring to my mum and Aunt. Probably sounds silly but it is nice to think that they are still watching over us
  16. *facepalm!* how did I not know that! It's not out to the end of the month in Australia or the UK. Not sure about other places.
  17. OH OH OH!!! I think I know this!!!! Is it from The Notebook by Nicolas Sparks?? Think that makes it my turn? "...suffering like this proves you are still a man! This pain is part of being human … the fact that you can feel pain like this is your greatest strength."
