One of my favourite stories (I've read it and the sequel on your site). I noticed an error, though: 'It didn’t fail to escape Chase’s notice that Brandon...' - that's a triple negative

I was thrown off by the conversation between Andy and his dad. I'm not sure that a lack of tangible affection from them is the source of his feelings of emptiness - maybe he really needs to feel complete acceptance. I noticed how Andy connected taking his phone away with not loving him - should that be chalked down to teenage naivete or to a deeper (maybe subconscious) link, in Andy's mind, between having to hide the secret aspect of his relationship with Matt and feeling unloved by his parents?

At first, I was slightly put off by the description, which comes off as somewhat vague and suggests a plot-driven story. But the read turned out to be very rewarding indeed. If this is your first story then I think you must be quite a remarkable writer. I'm very glad to know there'll be a sequel - I will be eagerly watching for it. Thank you for writing.

The 'rape' story is still being used. What a shame - as long as they fear the repercussions, they will keep hiding. Certainly part of the blame lies with the homophobes, though. Perhaps I'm forgetting that they're just 14/15. Peers of that age can be vultures.

A very intriguing statement: 'You know the passion and heat you feel when we’re fucking? I don’t have that except during those times. Don’t let that happen to you.' What an acute insight - psychological reciprocity. Andy is withholding the emotional devotion which Dillon secretly withheld from him, permitting only that which is always present in sex - the physical passion. Hope he makes it out of this 'knot'.
