  1. I think that works and to add to the drama, Alice dies before Rory and her get to talk, even though Eddie was urging him to.
  2. I must say that this is my favorite quote in the chapter followed by: Anyways, Rory brought up a valid question during the chapter: Is Seth a red head? When will you let us know, Dom? The suspense is nearly too much.
  3. I should still be entitled to Good Domaholic gear. You know, the stuff without reference to Aaron, Rory, or Luke And I'm only smearing his name for the benefit of Seth. I s'pose I'm just a sucker for a mysterious guy who walks you to the door (That's what I call exciting yet old-fashion; my kind of man).
  4. Wasn't Rory a bit unsure of Luke's friends knowing he was gay although they are gay friendly. We don't know enough about Seth to know if he'd be comfortable with all these people knowing. As a matter of fact, we don't even know about how many people know he's gay. And you say this group his gay-friendly, which is true. Seth is already on bad footing with everyone (except the girls) because he's "dating" Angela. To top it off, this group is Anti-Aaron, so whos' to say they wouldn't manage to use his homosexuality to screw with him? Luke knows that Seth likes guys, and he's using that to his advantage to manipulate him/flirt with him etc. What does it matter" "He's just using Angela and he's friends with Aaron. He deserves everything he gets" (Yeah, Yeah. I paraphrased). The group is nice until they find something they don't like about you. Luke (prior to this chapter) was the epitome of "nice", but he doesn't seem to take into consideration Seth's emotions (and why would he? Seth is a jerk just like his buddy Aaron). So if Luke is capable of this, can't the rest of his "friendly" companions do something as equally shady. P.S. how many posts do I have to make before i'm not a "newbie". EDIT: The Answer? 5 2nd EDIT: Portraying Luke as the new "shady" character will be my crusade (until the next chapter, when my mood shifts, of course). Although, I doubt I'll gather any supporters. Too many people like Luke too much. And who can blame them? Look at the wide selection of main teenage characters: Rory, Luke, Aaron, Seth(he does seem to becoming more prominent). Most will say not enough is known about a lot of these guys to make a decision (esp. Seth), so you choose the most reliable nice guy out of the lot. I have my work cut out for me, especially since smearing Luke's good name on the forums will not earn me any support or respect.
  5. Everyone assumed that Angela and Seth were a couple. If Luke was able to get Seth to show interest in him, especially if Angela saw this. Then, ideally, Angela would break up with Seth because he's gay. I thought this was Luke's plan (but, then again, maybe i misinterpreted that part). Anyways, this would, effectively, "out" Seth to these people. Now, some people may think it's justified, but no one deserves to be outed, unless they're ready to and it's on there own terms. Aaron, for example, is a big asshole. However, I don't care how much of a bastard he is, He doesn't deserve to be outed to his parents. It's the same with Seth. Does anyone really deserve that, when they're not ready? From my point of view, Luke views Seth as an obstacle towards Dave's and Angela's not-yet-existing relationship and from the impression he got from Rory is that he's an asshole. So Luje finds it perfectly justifiable to flirt with him, in hopes of breaking Angela and him up (and subsequently outing him in the process). That's does more than tarnish his halo. I'm sorry if I'm beginning to sound redundant(I'm just having trouble articulating my point). And I'm sorry if I seem to be overreacting, but like I said Does anyone really deserve that, when they're not ready? EDIT: And I also wanted to comment that it does seem likely that everyone is trying to make someone jealous. It makes sense that Angela and Seth would be in cahoots to make dave jealous and maybe force him into some action. And Luke's original intentions could have changed since he saw the opportunity to make Rory jealous. And seth did the same when he noticed luke flirting with him. I'm going crazy waiting for the next chapter and I'm going through various emotions regarding the characters. Now? I like Seth, not liking Luke, hating Rory. Who knows how the next chapter will affect my view of these guys.
  6. Nearly every chapter, I become frustrated with Rory. If he could just stop and listen and/or use common sense before acting, he'd be better off. I tell myself that Rory is the way he is because of what he's been throught (losing his mom, relationship with his grandma, relationship with his father, etc.), but how long can you blame the same tragedies over and over again for your actions. I'm glad he's finally coming around in regards to Aaron, but I still believe he has to re-evaluate his other relationships, or lack thereof (Luke, Eddi,e Seth, etc.). I'm still trying to rationalize his actions, so I won't end up hating him, but some times I just want to reach through my computer monitor and slap him, then strangle, him, then slap him some more, until he realizes how self-centered he can be, as well as, blind to the actions/behavior/personalities of others (primarily, Aaron,Seth,Luke). And as previously stated, at least he's "seen the light" with Aaron, but let's hope that he doesn't have a TLS-Relapse
  7. Hi, first time poster. I must say that I'm really starting to like Seth. But the question is: Is Luke starting to like him?. And I think Rory has a lot of thinking to do before he starts making decisions. He especially has to re-evaluate his feelings about Luke and Seth. First, Luke. This whole situation seems to have gotten Rory jealous. I'm not buying his excuse that he thinks Seth see luke as an "opportunity". And, Seth? He seems to have a lot of hatred built up towards Seth, but is it really valid? I believe that Seth means he's over Aaron(and the obligatory TLS), although eh should clear up why he still hangs around him. Rory didn't like Seth because he thought he was the jealous ex. But if Aaron isn't Rory's boyfriend anymore, what does it really matter, especially when Seth seems over Aaron, enough to flirt with Luke. At least Rory realizes that Aaron isn't Prince charming, but he still has to think about some other people now.
