  1. I'm just laughing at the coincidence of the title's chapter and the significance of today's date as I write this review. Anyhow, I couldn't help but literally smile the entire time I read this chapter. The way they woke up together and their exchanges put me in an emotional high. I love the progression of the intimacy, it's just right. The fact that M, who "came out" later when K was already sure, takes the lead in their sexual exploration makes me admire him even more. M's conviction is very inspiring, I'm jealous of his resolve in matters of their relationship and how he can convey his feelings resolutely to K. Eagerly anticipating your next installment. Happy Valentine's Day

    Chapter 9 All In

Loaded chapter, no pun intended. Michael's admission to Kendall and the nostalgia of that profound moment, I was also in Kendall's shoes hanging on every word... the nakedness, the moonlight, and the confession is just woaw. I resonated with M's feeling of shame and I understand why he did what he did. It could have been much worse as it usually is, but I'm very glad that you are highlighting the very real possibility of things going in a much more positive and enlightening direction. As for the intimate scenes, I was expecting this to happen but I wasn't ready for the intensity of the eroticism and granted this is their first sexual encounter together... HAWT! On to the next chapter!
  3. So sorry for the very late review. I would like to say that I'm loving both characters' developments right now, especially Kendall's. Just thinking through what you wrote, I saw his actions for the most part as concern for Michael his best friend rather than Michael the one and only love of his life... which gives significance to his newfound resolution in the previous chapter. I'm loving how when they arrived at Kendall's residence, they could crack jokes at each other in that way to express their close friendship despite the huge elephant in the building. As for Michael's actions in the residence, I also think they were spot on. He had denied himself that hunger for years and I am in awe of his control. Kendall's reaction to the kiss, what a stirring experience. I would like to say that I am impressed again with his resolve, in that situation let's just say that I would experience a minor brain malfunction leaving me stupefied for a decent amount of time. Forget the takeout, it'd be mental incapacitation! His thought process and his hesitation to get his heart broken combined with the conflict of emotions is well delineated. What a great chapter! I don't mean to write an essay but when I was reading Michael's reaction when the doctor came in to check on him, I have to confess, I did yell out "Oh nooooo he didn't!!!" followed by "Oh thank god!" when finished with the sentence. You almost got me there, amnesia... pfft!
  4. On Kendall's newfound, albeit "assisted," resolution... I hope that's a sign that he's building some slight tolerance both physical and mental to the drug that is Michael. While I am supporting them wholeheartedly, I'd rather not have Kendall going back to tunnel visioning Michael as the center of the universe. I am also eager to see how their talk comes about. Touché on Candy's indirect reintroduction, sir. Touché.
  5. Woaw, nice chapter. Having been in Kendall's exact same position, I can completely relate. And yes, even if Michael had said those words correctly, it would've resulted in complete denial to the point of absurdity and anger (imo anyway). Gah, so similar it's haunting! The feels! Can't wait for the next chapter.
  6. Just stumbled on this story today. I like how you're descriptive with the inner turmoil both Michael and Kendall are going through. Can't wait to read more!

    Chapter 42

I just have to say that I was surprised with the pictures you put up, mainly because I had a drawing in my mind as to how HMS Belvidera looked... The picture actually made it more clear. Thanks for writing an interesting series and continuing to do so. George's exploits and interactions even in the eyes of the enemy have me also looking at him with hero-worship lol.
  8. Alan likes Nick?!?! Oh snap!
  9. Just started reading this before, couldn't stop reading up till the latest chapter. Very interesting plot development there, and all I can say is... wow. I want to kick Craig's ass but at the same time, will that really settle anything? Anyways, keep up the good work. Can't wait for the next chapter.
  10. Just stumbled on this story three hours earlier and haven't stopped reading up until this chapter. All I can say is, wow... I thought maybe Nick just got the crap beaten out of him until, well. I think you handled the writing very well, although I wasn't a big fan of what was gonna happen but didn't event in the bathtub. After something like that... I dunno heh. I feared Nick wouldn't be able to get intimate after that but, in any case I hope that he recovers and gets his inner fortitude back. Don't get me wrong though, I'm now one of your avid fans. Maybe Dave and Matt can double team the bastard, couple of round house kicks mixed with below the belt jabs? But then again, I feel like that won't accomplish much because for some reason most of the characters (including Craig) have their own personal demons to deal with. That doesn't make it right what he did, but at the same time I don't know if pure violence will be enough to settle the issue. In any case, please continue to post the next chapters. Can't wait to read 'em!
  11. Maybe I'm cloistered or I've not been paying attention in my teens but I never heard the terms "tea-bagging" or "roman helmet" until I went to college and attended a mixer. When I saw what the "drunk" guys were doing, I wondered to myself... what the hell??? Then I looked to my straight guy friend and asked him, is this supposed to be funny? He told me yes, so I asked him how? Because I remember one of the "tea-baggers" saying some pretty homophobic things prior to exposing himself. The answer I got was, it just is. From an infantile/immature standpoint, I guess it's funny. But from a dude that spouts some crap then does the deed... Never really understood that, even today... still can't grasp the concept.
