  1. Sasha Distan

    Chapter 1

Yes and no. the book is completed, finished and published as an actual book. i gave you guys the first chapter to draw you in.the unedited version is available on my fictionpress site.
  2. I've no doubt. I'm not saying it's good, but if someone ws put off by one of my first chapters not to want to read the rest, I'd want to know. Maybe I'll come back to it and give it another go, but i found that first chapter too stomach turning to keep going.
  3. i love that album. that and Reload2.There is one song on S&M that makes my blood chill and makes everything perfect. I'll give you one guess as to what it is...
  4. I love that you're loving it. I have to say i feel very attached to Bay. He's developing well.
  5. Join the club! I used to have every animal imaginable too. they slept four deep on the bunk bed below me. That's right, a bunk bed just for the animals. I was good to my toys. Now i have a man, and a vintage carpet elephant named Jasper
  6. Dawn at sea, the sunlight came across the water in silent streaks, tinting the deep indigo to higher shades, flashes of blue and green, ripples tinted with gold sparks. The light struck the hull of the boat that wallowed in shallow blue of the bay. Red pulled across the sea, the hull golden wood, worn smooth by varnish and waves and loving care, just like the decks smooth from feet and fish. Black streaked the side of the boat, spelling out the name in slender cursive lettering. La Belle Mere.
  7. Krilla Desmau leads an idyllic life in southern Turkey, swimming in the ocean, fishing in the Med, and having fun with his friends on his boat. But Krilla has more than one secret, and while the throne of Atlantis sits empty of a King, Krilla is much more interested in finding love. When a land bound boy shows up in Kas, Krilla gets his chance.
  8. true, but the music isn't especially camp. if you never saw a picture of the band you'd never know.
  9. Bay has internalised homophobia

    Chapter 5

thanks hun. I'm glad you enjoyed.
  11. I still hadn’t come out to the people I worked with. Monday the South Alaska was shut, properly shut. Tuesday was bar only, with no club, as was Sunday until 10pm. I’d spent Monday unpacking, gone into town and bought some new clothes, hated the look that the guy in the shop had given me, a sneer that didn’t hide the fact that he thought I was just some camp idiot ‘dressing up’ in black. I’d run every day, and I loved it, especially early in the morning before the sun was really up, running in
  12. I have to say i get quite reliable feedback through FictionPress, which is a very general website. but it works well
  13. I know you said to give it more than the title. i did. i couldn't get through the whole first chapter. I'm sorry. I tried.
  14. I know right? Hopefully i will make it, who knows at this stage.
  15. So this seems a little bit self-serving... I have began to post my first made-for-GA story on the site and thought people might like to talk about it. Who knows. Bad Stereotypes is about a young man named Bay, who after having his friends and family assume that just because he's come out of the closet he wants to be camp now, runs away to the city on the sea where his Godfather owns a rock and metal bar and club. The story is told is short chapters with numerous flashbacks of Bay's past and history, which help to explain why an out gay guy "hates queers". How Bay gets from his repressed but out point of view to being happy involves a cast of interesting work-mates and one very special man. Four chapters currently available with a new one posted each day. Current length is 13k, and i would project anywhere between 20 and 30k when it's finished. Also, quite randomly, disability themed undertones. Though i'm not quite sure why that is. so, let me know what you think. and yes, some of the chapters are very short. i'm sorry.
  16. yes darling. soon. i promise
  17. saturday has WAY more trains. 3 weeks before the wedding... i might make it, though sussex to manchester is a bloody long trip.
  18. Cute, but no. i got all excited there thinking i had found another addict, shame *sigh*
  19. Awww! thanks! you get one chapter a day, just like Cia likes the updates to be. sorry they are so short....
  20. and yet there will be other distractions...
  21. "he held me down" - ouch dude. it shows how good you are with these two and as a writer that those words were all you needed to say.
  22. Logan was my best friend. We spent every minute of every day together when we weren’t needed inside for dinner, and he hung out at my house or I went to his and we rode our bikes all over the neighbourhood and through the fields. Even in the winter, a bike is an eight year old boy’s greatest ally. We cycled out to the woods that day before it snowed, the ground hard as iron and cold as ice, frost trimming all the branches bare of leaves, the sky a thick blanket of white. The air felt flat as we
  23. i also do not understand those who run....
  24. *glomp* thank you thank you thank you. I swear anytime anyone tells me they like it i get a little dizzy with pride. those are my boys! *over excited hand gestures* so we are voting for a sequel?
  25. i think bay is a moron to shuffle back towards the closet, but teenagers do stupid things
