Thank you for that comment, it's nice when someone also notices how the story is written (except Ma obviously, who always comments). I think we've all had that burning need to go and be with the one we love, and I loved this moment for them of a relationship turning more serious in the absolute best way. Thanks again Lisa!

Thanks Gary. You say such nice things! I'm glad I helped you relive that day too - it sounds like a great one. I used to take the last train to be with my guy when I couldn't stand not too - because I didn't have a car then. Now I would always drive through the night to be with him, regardless of the cost. It's always worth it.

Awww, thanks Lisa!I do try and avoid naming stories exactly after their song titles, and this one seemed to fit well - but I understand the connotations of the name. I'm glad you liked the song though. Levi and Mac and adorable, and I agree that Mac gets extra points for learning the words and chords - I'm betting he'll get lucky after that!

Well, he's not in AA - there are other, more specific support groups. After all, Nathan's problems have very little to do with alcohol.Why is he still calling Taylora 'friend' - because he doesn't have another word for what they are. There's no way Nathan wants to ruin everything now and presume that Taylor wants to be his boyfriend. He'll just wait.

Animals know things, and they don't judge us. your horse, or your dog, doesn't care if your smart or dumb, pretty or plain, rich or poor - as long as you love them, they'll love you right back. Cayman is there for Nathan in a way no one else can be, because Nathan loves him without barriers or judgement or expectation. Your Sammy was the same. Wow... I think I might cry just from reading your review. Thank you so much Gary!For me too, the important moment is the one with Cayman - only the stallion really knows Nathan for who he is, rather than who he has been shaped as. Underneath all that is a sweet boy who wants to ride his horse of into the sunset and lie for hours in the hayloft making out - he got lost under the macho, the anger, and the pressure of being who his father wants and everyone else expects - but we'll find him again.
