Wade groans and rubs the back of his skull. Getting shot in the head isn’t nearly as much fun when a bad guy does it. They're called boxes because in Daniel Way's comics they're represented by floating text boxes, one yellow and one white. Deadpool has a tendency for fourth wall breaking, and has himself referred to the voices as boxes in the comics. In the fandom they are collectively referred to as The Boxes, and individually often as Yellow and White, and are basically considered to be their own characters. Since they're not colour coded in writing, I skip the colour definitions and just try to characterise them as best I can and let the readers decide which is which. Thanks for reviewing! A Deadpool/Spider-Man fanfic. Wade wants to be a hero, but fighting bad guys isn't enough to keep things interesting. Wooing Spider-Man might help, though. And exploring his kinks definitely will. Of course, he never thought anything would come of either of these things. Boy, was he wrong!
