I love and hate this story and with only two chapters left I am dreading the fate the awaits our hero. Beautiful work Mark Arbour.

Of the many CAP chapters I think on this chapter a lot. The idea that father and son bookend the arch of JP's love life is quite a romantic notion and while the crush he had on Steven was unrequited it is more than made up for by the bliss JP has found with Stefan. Daring choice respectfully done.

“I think that if Jim doesn’t want to get hurt, he should not provoke Steve." Best advice Jim could get. I adore the family dynamics in this chapter, and I echo Steve's concern about JP growing up with the Cramptons. Truly awesome stuff, thanks.

Wow! Spectacular chapter, thank you. While making a few good points Will lost major points with me; his self righteousness is just as off putting as Brenda Hayes' and equally out of line. Great now I'm all mad at Will and worried about Matt, Wade and Brad .

Aaron is so in love with Steven; he just can't say it because regardless of the time he's still a 16 yo guy. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this story.

Parents owe their children many things; however, a list of sexual conquests is not one of them. JP has a right to be upset, but Stefan is right to give Marie the benefit of doubt. Such great writing, thanks.

Robbie lost that bet for sure. Reading a out Jim's behavior makes his relations with Bitty that much more believable...like Nick Jim is all over the place. Damn this is a great story, thanks.

Steven really is a catch; it's a shame that he and Aaron have so many cards stacked against them.

I love the little JP; Tonto's made some good points but rather than Steven being more emotionally mature, I would say Tonto is more open minded allowing Steven to see a bit more grey than Aaron. Thanks.

Steve is an immediately like able guy, an innocent version of his son, but just as sassy as Stef was at that age. Tonto in full Tonto action is a true treat. Thanks.

Another compelling start to what is one of my favorite CAP books. Nick is all over the place one minute he's kind of almost not a troll, and the next he's king prick, good thing JP and Wade are there to balance him out. Thanks Mark A.

I am so grateful that I stumbled on to this story. It's brilliant in practically every capacity. I love the tragic love story backed dropped against a world in a similar tragic state, and rather than have the situation feel oppressively hopeless there is that spark of endless possibility that one of those blissful opportunities offers them a bliss they never had chance to experience. It's a tragedy of the very best kind. Thank you for sharing your creative vision.
