Thanks! I was hoping it would read that way. I couldn't help but play out the dinner party angle. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I love this story of found family and affection. Such a nurturing tale and also one of loss and found purpose. Beautifully written. Thank you.

Thanks Mann. This was great fun to write. I've had a thirty minute vegetarian episode myself. It's too much to beat!

Invested “Listen, this is serious Morgan. If we don’t find a hundred grand somewhere for the balloon payment, we will lose the business.” “I know it’s serious. I’m trying to think of some way to get the money. Maybe I’ll ask my sister if she could help,” Morgan Taylor-Phillips said, looking hopefully at his husband, Drake Phillips-Taylor. “I’m sure she’ll help if she can. We’ve helped her out.” “She doesn’t have a pot to piss in. Grady had to get a job to help pay for college. Sure, Em

  8. Thank you! I hope you keep reading. It's a work of love.
  9. Thank you Lisa. I'm not sure I'm happy you cried but I understand the sentiment. I wept while writing this. Danny is going through "therapy" during this healing process. He has to experience some doubt and pain.
  10. Thanks Slytherin. I am not a chef, though I went to cooking school when I was young and worked in the industry for many years. And, I collect cookbooks, especially old ones. I like food, a lot.
  11. December 10th – St. Eulalia From Catholic Online: “She was then stripped by the soldiers, tortured with hooks and torches, and burnt at the stake, suffocating from smoke inhalation. She taunted her torturers all the while, and as she expired a dove flew out of her mouth. This frightened away the soldiers and allowed a miraculous snow to cover her nakedness, its whiteness indicating her sainthood.” *********************** The next morning, Danny woke up on the couch consumed with guilt. 12. I call Isaac a loveable scamp because he really is a good guy, just a little over dramatic. But then, lots of us are!
  13. Thank you so much Lisa. Yeah, I do think that needing a Cayden of our own is something that rings true often. I guess we need a little help from time to time.
  14. Thanks so much Mike. You are so right. We should try to bring a little light when others may be feeling the darkness. It is our duty as good people.
  15. Haha! Thanks Slytherin! You're the best.
  16. I'm glad you like them. They are fun guys. Thank you!
  17. Thank you so much. I hope this story does exactly what you've said.
  18. Sorry about that. I couldn't tell it any other way. I hope you're enjoying it otherwise.
  19. Ian so glad to hear this is relatable. We all experience loss and that is what I'm hoping to convey. Danny is starting to heal and this is his journey. Thanks so much Cassie.
  20. I got the rough draft of "Heart of Stone" written. This is fun!
  21. December 8th - St. Nicholas From Catholic Online: “That night St. Nicholas appeared in a dream to Constantine, and told him with threats to release the three innocent men, and Ablavius experienced the same thing. In the morning the Emperor and the prefect compared notes, and the condemned men were sent for and questioned. When he heard that they had called on the name of the Nicholas of Myra who had appeared to him, Constantine set them free and sent them to the bishop with a letter asking hi
