I do love this story. The anime and convention stuff confuses me, but it sounds fun. Adam and Mikael are so adorable. Now I get the fangirls are pervs reference! Wonderful chapter.
Thanks Lisa. I guess Danny is waiting until after for symbolic reasons, and of course there is no substantive purpose. Except, we do things symbolically as a kind of nod to others out of respect. As far as your timeline comment, you are right. I miscounted, and I will fix it. There will be no yelling or whining on my part! Thanks so much for the review.
December 15th – St. Mary (Paula) di Rosa
From Catholic Online:
“When the door swung wide, the soldiers saw their way blocked with a great crucifix held by Paula di Rosa and two candles held by two of the six sisters who stood by her. Suddenly their frenzy to destroy disappeared, and full of shame before this display of courage and faith, they slunk back into the shadows.”

Heart of Stone
Rob chewed his lip nervously as he watched his boss work on some paperwork at the far end of the bar. He knew what Stone’s reaction would be to his request yet he was determined to ask. He’d promised Conner he’d ask but this wouldn’t be easy. Stone Carroll had his usual sour look on his face. Tonight’s receipts weren’t as good as he’d anticipated. Rob conjured up his courage and walked over to the scowling man.
“Say, Stone,” he began.
“What?” Stone said looking up at him.
That is so right. It usually doesn't work. The kids as angel investors was based on my hubby modeling to pay for college. I just turned up how lucrative it was. He thought it was funny!
Beautiful story, that tugs at the heart with questions and hope. Really makes you think while evoking powerful desire they. Can work something out. Great job. Loved it. Thanks.
Lovely story that dragged me into believing it. Such a fresh look into a new relationship, in spite of there being far more vomit than I've ever read in a story before! I loved it. So sweet and endearing.
What an awesome story! I am so impressed. On pins and needles and then... Very descriptive and lush. I happen to love vignettes so I'm imagining all kinds of things. Thanks.
Excerpt from Chapter Six:
"Danny found himself reaching for the phone Sunday morning. Tonight was their second date and he ached to talk to someone about it. Cayden’s mother was having a small neighborhood caroling party and after they had dinner, they were supposed to stop by and have spiced cider and cookies. Danny just didn’t know how he was supposed to feel about it. On the one hand, he couldn’t be more excited to see Cayden again and even meeting his mother made his pulse race. On the other hand, he felt a lingering sense of betrayal of Brian. Even though he’d come to his senses about the situation, it felt wrong."
December 13th – St. Lucy
From Catholic Online:
“Lucy's name is probably also connected to statues of Lucy holding a dish with two eyes on it. This refers to another legend in which Lucy's eyes were put out by Diocletian as part of his torture. The legend concludes with God restoring Lucy's eyes.”

Wednesday night is an odd night for a first date, but neither Danny nor Cayden were bothered by that. Their relationship had started as friends so they were already comfo
