Thanks Addy! Yeah, especially following your story, I have lots of things swirling in my head. Hopefully we'll keep this going for a while.
-
Thanks Jo Ann, I hope you will find inspiration for Endora's story somewhere in here. I can't wait to hear her story.

Thanks darlin' and I smell a quest coming up.

Quench The big, burly blacksmith wiped the sweat that was stinging his eyes. “Get those bellows going faster,” he growled at Adron, one of his scrawny young apprentices. The slightly built, though tall teen looked fearfully at his master and rushed over to the furnace. His long reddish-brown hair was plastered to his head. Waldron noticed the youth’s face was as black and filthy as his own. Adron wasn’t the best of his apprentices, but he was certainly the best looking. He didn’t have tim

Gaia-Town is a small city located in the southern central part of the large island/subcontinent of Baurithish. It is a semi-autonomous county that owes suzerainty nominally to the Kingdom of Surando which is situated like a horseshoe around the eastern, northern, and western parts, of the island. It’s relatively isolated from the kingdom due to geological formations and a wide, arid desert. To the north of Gaia-Town are craggy mountains, The Ziriths, and closely forested hills, the Duranic Mo

Fantasy places contain beings who feel, love, hurt, and dream. These expressions have as many different perspectives as there are in this world. Gaia-Town is a collaborative project that seeks to give you characters and stories that entertain and challenge you. Not everyone in Gaia-Town is honest or true and sometimes that makes for surprising situations. What it hopes to do is question our perceptions of that world, and therefore ours as well.

Okay, I hope this works. I'm going to post on Feb 15th. I will use "Gaia-Town- Quench" as my title and post here. I'm going to post the "History of Gaia-Town as a prologue. You can post Gaia-Town-(chapter title) as yours going forward. As soon as we have characters published to use, we can begin playing with each other's sketches. Does this work for you? I love the idea of us giving diverse perspectives of these characters. I've used Aditus' Taranis, Jo Ann's Endora, and Johnathan's Asmodeus is an important part. Deep breath. If you are opposed, let me know. I'm excited about this. Cole

Thanks to all for the hard work providing us with quality stories. I love reading the great stuff you have given us. Bravo! -
Let me know people, I am shooting for a beginning release around Feb 15. This is all new and crazy. I can send my story around to Aditus, Johnathan, and Joann, who have revealed bios for characters. I've included your characters in my story. We can then reveal stories over the course of a week. I need your input. We can also just reveal on the same day, which would be really cool. I love the different perspective thing too. I'm trying to be open. Give me your thoughts.

No one ever accused me of being a good graphic artist but here are my meager attempts. At least we'll have a frame of spatial reference. There are maps of the larger island where Gaia-Town is located as well as a map of Gaia-Town neighborhoods in my Gallery. I don't know how to post to the forum. Thanks!

Okay, Asmodeus is awesome, or do I mean awful? I'm definitely including him in a tavern scene. I've already got it playing in my head.

Absolutely. I was going to make him Waldrons client for the weapon he's working on. That would work.

What a charming story. Really so touching and a delightful whirlwind romance, which happens quite often. Sometimes, you just know. Thank you so much Zandra. A nice post-Christmas treat!

Sorry I've been away. Grandma broke her hip and shoulder and I've been dealing with that. Anyway, I was thinking we could shoot for a February 15 date for our first stories. What do you think? Is that too soon? Let me know.

Thanks so much. I appreciate the kind words. Hopefully the sequel will be out this summer. The whole gang will be in it. Awesome!

Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had a blast writing it and reading how it moved people. I'm so grateful.

Very powerful emotional scene that juxtaposes the growing intimacy of ADam and Mikeal with Josh's molestation. Really well written and impactful. Great job Cassie. And Thank You!

Here are brief bios of my two main characters from my chapter: Waldron He's a dark haired, bearded swarthy blacksmith who owns and operates a furnace and forge in the New Quarter of Gaia-Town. He's not evil but very selfish and could be described as neutral morally. Waldron is from the western part of Surando where the mages hold sway. He's not gay or bisexual, he's more tri-sexual, as in he'll try anything. Waldron gets an commission for doing something that isn't legal and it doesn't bother him a bit. He has three apprentices whom he makes partners, and not because he's a nice guy. Adron He's the senior apprentice at Waldron's blacksmithy. He's a slight man around 19 years old with long reddish brown hair. Adron's definitely gay. He's educated and runs the shops books since Waldron is illiterate in Suranese. Adron comes from a family that was once well-to-do and had to become a smith apprentice because of his family's downfall. And, there you have it.
