  1. Chapter 29 - The Talk “First of all, almost everything Chuck told you about The Vow is a fraud perpetuated by my grandmother.” Dylan just looked at Chuck’s sister, his mouth wide open. He’d just gotten settled on the balcony of Kelli’s apartment with a wine spritzer and a plate of cheeses, meats, and crackers. That was the last thing he was expecting to come out of her mouth. “Do you mean Chuck lied to me about this vow thing?” Dylan said feeling a bit numb. “No. Chuck told you exactly wh
  2. Lisa, you are such a gem. I believe you are going to love what happens. At least I hope so. Thank you for your review.
  3. Thirst “You really did that to him?” “I told you I would,” his companion smiled. Both men watched as the paramedics and first responders wheeled a covered figure out of 1550 Loring Lane. They were standing in the park just watching, one older man, kind of flabby with bright silver hair, the other in his mid-twenties and dressed in jeans and a flannel shirt over a fitted tee. The younger man was looking up at the older one in awe. He was shocked, appalled even at what he was seeing. Cort

    Chapter 1

I love Halloween stories and we got three, well actually four, in one story. Thanks, that was fun
  5. Great interview Lisa and excellent job doing it Percy. It is fun finding out more about people here. Especially a sweetheart like Lisa!
  6. Chapter 28 – Inside Voices A few days later… Chuck held Dylan tightly as his boyfriend muttered in his sleep. The man had started thrashing about in bed and that had prompted Chuck to hold him until he calmed. He remembered one of their first nights together, the redheaded man had called out Ron’s name. It had been a painful sound that suggested immense suffering. Chuck held him that night too. It had gotten better after only a few moments. The dreams and thrashing had gotten worse sinc
  7. What a deep sense of humanity and care for the other. Really, they do love each other quite intimately, just not as lovers. Very good, sensitive story.
  8. Thanks Lisa. I removed the redundancy which as you pointed out affected the flow at the end. You are so awesome, as always!
  9. That seems to be a popular choice! Overheard that a couple ofttimes. Lolz.
  10. Chapter 27 - Jealousy “What’re you doing after work?” “Going home. Chuck’s making dinner and we’re going to watch some ‘Game of Thrones.’ Wanna join us?” “No. I wanna go out tonight. Five dollar pitchers at Boys’ Town tonight. We could scope out the hotties.” “Chad, I’m not ditching my boyfriend to go cruising with you,” Dylan sighed. He’d hardly seen his best friend these past few weeks since, well since he met Chuck. He missed him but he wasn’t going to the bars when they had plans.
  11. We may find out in an upcoming story. Thanks for the review!
  12. Chapter 3 – Prince Ladd A man in a bright blue gingham shirt was sitting in the middle of Loring Park furiously sketching. In front of him was the lake itself, shimmering in the warm afternoon sun with a bright golden color. Around this man there were trees with leaves in bright reds, browns, and yellows. Beside him was a garden with the last blooms of October hanging on for dear life in these last warm days of October. The gingham shirted man wasn’t sketching any of these things. Instead
  13. Loved the story. The changes in Rhyder from beginning to the end were amazing and you did this seamlessly. It wasn't who he was with or wanted but what he was growing into. You did so with such tact and grace. These were momentous events and people to him. It was a lovely display of becoming more. All along the way, there was great respect for the characters. Thanks.
  14. I love this story. So many interesting twists and turns already. Rath is quite the sly one which the third chapter brings in spades. Can't wait for more!
  15. Thanks Lisa. The roller coaster ride is just starting. Hands inside the ride. It's gonna get bumpy. Oh, and pretty cool too.
  16. Thanks. It was a fun chapter to write. They are quite the characters!
  17. Thank you. I think you put it very well and I think you will like what's in store coming up.
  18. You are so right. Sometimes we lose ourselves in those little white lies.
  19. Thanks Jo. I love isaac too. He is quite the spitefire. I'm intrigued by your comment.
  20. Chapter 26 - Fight Night “Dylan, why are you so quiet tonight?” Chuck asked and turned onto Penn Ave. Dylan struggled with his emotions. He’d had a bad day, a really bad day at the restaurant and the last thing he wanted to do was go out. Chuck was so excited about this stupid night, Dylan didn’t want to ruin it but this was too much. “I’m just tired,” Dylan lied. “I wish you would have gone without me.” “I’m sorry, Hun. We won’t be late. You’ll have fun, I guarantee it,” Chuck had a pe
  21. Really getting into their deepening relationship. Beginning to see more on Michael's side than on Asher's. Interesting dynamic. Love this story, especially as a former bartender. Take care of yourself. We will wait for more. This story is that good. Really special.
  22. Thank you. That is why I love coming out stories. There are plenty of happy ones, or at least ones that are positive. We don't always tell those. I hope the guys I shared this with on Twitter see it isn't all bad. Love ya Darling.
  23. Thanks Lisa. Yeah, it does seem odd it needs to happen but I was truly terrified in the days leading up to it. I was happy it went well.
  24. I hadn't heard the green and yellow thing either but after our talk, I looked it up and in one story on the origin of the word "gay" it has Oscar Wilde wearing a green carnation with a yellow ribbon or something. What touched me most was my father researched it. This is before they had a computer and no Google!
  25. That really does work. Thanks for the review.
