Zany sense of humour I guess. Matching your poetry with your ensemble could be a trial.

Great story. Thanks. It gave me inspiration to write up my own first time, but very different to this young love. I was in my 60s!

Prompt 179 Well that sure didn’t go as I had hoped.

That needed half a dozen likes at least! Loved it! Really hit the romantic button it did! I love Gary's "stupendously adorable". Well said! Keep up the good work! -
A fun and enjoyable read. It sparked off some memories for me and sent me to my computer to record them, so it was good in that sense too. Thank you!

Came across your sharing here as I was surfing through for something to read. Very moving and interesting. Have a bunch of questions about it: more than can be asked here. Perhaps I should PM you. It seems you intended this to be the first of maybe other entries but I don't see others. What happened? You write well and should be writing lots more.

I'm crying and feeling the pain. Maybe feeling someone else's pain will help me deal with my own or will it make mine seem worse?
-
Absolutely, you need to write some more. Stories like this are so satisfying because they give us a quick lift, like the hot chocolate. They leave a pleasant taste to savour for a while. Thank you for writing.

Hey. Great little story. I love your writing. So evocative. You paint such beautiful word pictures.

Ah, that was beautiful and delightful. Sacha is cute because he is so child-like and so helpless physically and yet he's anything but child-like and not at all helpless. He's such a contradiction, but that's what makes him so very attractive. There's this amazing innocence and yet he is anything but innocent. His recovery will be sped up knowing the security of Nik's love, I'm sure. Just hope Lacey does not interfere in her desire to protect Sacha. A lovely chapter, Nephy! Thanks so much!

Prompt 344 Why didn’t you just tell me that?
Jaro_423 commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 344 Why didn’t you just tell me that?
This is quite a laugh as now we getting the nervous reactions of Nelson. I see if it's left to Nelson and Eric they probably never get together. Just as well they have family and friends who have no qualms about steering them, albeit sometimes a little forcefully, in the right direction. Enjoying your prompt stories. Such a good idea and such fun. -
This chapter made me cry all the way through. Poor Sacha. He's been so hurt physically and mentally and it's so hard for those who want what's best for him to know what is going to set him off on a train of bad memories that can't be controlled. And then the expectation of the kiss and the hurt of its denial. Poor Sacha! Ah, but all this is worth it for the experience of the sea. Wow! Nephy you are a marvel at evoking a childhood dream and painting it so vividly and simply in words that make it come alive. I love your writing. Thanks for this beautifully touching story. And, yes, the tears are good even though they for the pain.

Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (I)
Jaro_423 commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (I)
Seems Rob has a way of crashing Eric's plans! Quite funny really, except to Eric! Though sounds like Maria will be helping him make a date with Nelson. Maybe they'll go on a double date. -
Well that was totally unexpected! I kept thinking this was the last thing they wanted to happen. That no matter what the cost they must keep their parents from ever finding out, and then they go and make the grand confession. Wow! But you know what! That makes these two super heroes in my eyes. They have such balls! Such courage! It takes great strength of character to face your faults, own up to them and publically (at least to the parents anyway) admit to them. And they achieve two things here. Firstly, and most importantly, they get rid of the weight of guilt that has been weighing them down and causing confusion and misery; and, secondly, they hopefully put the whole thing to rest for them and everyone else (just hope everyone else lets them do that without probing and pushing for answers - thinking of Gina here and how she really was pushing Matt when he was drugged and drunk). Well, that was a very interesting chapter. Everything after this will seem rather normal even when it isn't, so it will be interesting to see where you take us next.
-
Well, Matt's really learnt to lie to his parents so that's nothing new. He's just digging a deeper hole, but then there's no other choice. The truth sure is not an option at the moment. Matt and Andy's time together was so very precious, and Matt's treatment of Andy was so beautiful. The love these two have for each other is really quite beyond the normal in any sense. I really loved that scene. If they can keep building each other they stand a chance of making it through. But now Matt's parents are grounding him again. It's such a pat parent answer to all problems but in this case I think they are making a big mistake. I think they are about to lose Matt's loyalty, love and respect altogether, though he doesn't seem to be taking it badly. Maybe he's not had time to think about it yet. Perhaps he's remembering a grounding helped him last time and thinking this could be a solution to saving him from himself again. Just so long as they don't stop him from regular contact with Andy. I really believe that that is his only salvation at this time.

I really thought Matt was finished there for a moment. Had he told Gina his activities that summer that would have been the end for him. He's already hurting so much and lost so much, I don't think he could take another blow to his lack of esteem and respect for himself. Oh Matt, you have to pull out of this. I must say Em shot to the top here. She's a better friend than Gina. Gina was a bitch. All she wanted was to find out the truth so she could rub it in Matt's face probably. It sure didn't look like she was trying to help him at all, but Em knew this would be bad and really tried to help him. If it hadn't been for her it would all have come to a very sorry end by now. And then to end it all, more lies to the parents. Surely the parents can see that Matt is struggling. He really needs counsel to help him through this. Not sure that he's going to make it at the rate he's going. So very sad to see. I'm crying for him.
-
Poor Matt. I really feel for him. He's probably taking more flak with Andy not being around for him too. Unless he can get beyond this and put it all aside or behind him, he's going to be in trouble big time, and there won't be a story for us to follow. Our hero can't fuck up completely! He's got to find a way through this.
-
I really wish like Matt and Andy that no-one will ever know the truth of what they have done, but I really don't believe that's going to happen. Truth has a nasty way of finding you out. And when this truth is out it is going to be very difficult to retain the fall out. Matt's school ambitions will be shot to ribbons so he can forget football hero stuff, class president stuff, basketball. He and Andy will only have a bad reputation no good reputation. He might be lucky and be able to stay in school but maybe it will be better at that point to move out and find some alternative, even home-school. Andy will be the same so he can forget GSA and basketball. When this truth is out it will be a lot worse than the last episode with Dillon. And their friends are going to be reeling with shock and probably never fully recover from it. In effect they will have to go somewhere else and start over.

Great opening chapter. Really good summary of their story so far, just to remind us of how far they've come. Very interesting. It's certainly been a road packed with incident. And here we have Andy recovering from another incident, lots of rumours flying around and everyone concerned or nearly everyone. The last thing they want is the truth to come out on this one and Randy is such a scumbag to be letting out this. Matt and his mates need to sort Randy out big time. He's more dangerous to them than Jackass B and Frank K and the anit GSA bigots. The irony is, of course, that it just might have been some anti-GSA bigots who beat him up anyway. Afterall, it has to have been some religious cooks who did this to Andy, though if it was anti-GSA folk maybe that story would be gaining more ground than it already has. Well, there lots of questions about how this will be resolved. So on to the next chapter.

Wow. A great ending to the third book and can't quite believe I am here. I've loved every moment of this read. Thanks so much. You do a really good job. Poor Andy! He really only learns the hard way, and even then sometimes that's not enough for him. He has to be one tough guy to take all this shit and go on. Very touching end to the chapter and the book. I really liked that.
-
Well they really getting in deep now and once this gets a hold, as it may already have done, they won't be able to give it up for either the money or the sex. As you say, Derrick is a pretty good guy so maybe he will look after them well, but they really don't want to get into the escort side of it while still so young. Andy really seems to be turned on by the money. What's this going to do to him?
-
So very interesting where you are taking this. I fear for Matt and Andy. Can they come through this unscathed. I doubt it very much. The only thing that keeps encouraging me is that they are in their 20s now and writing these memoirs of their earlier years, so hopefully they doing so as a record of where they were and how they got out of it. The other thing is that you like a good ending so I'm encouraged to think even though it is going to get very bad again, that somewhere, sometime it takes a turn for the better. In the meantime, I will, like Andy and Matt, enjoy the sex. Perhaps we all have a little of the whore in us - I think I speak more for the guys here.
-
Wow! This story is going places that I would never have anticipated. It's leaving me a little speechless or wordless I should say! Wow! Wow! Wow!

Yes, I did worry a little that after the trial the book would lose it's thread and impact, but it didn't. Hats off to you for keeping it going and adding something tantalizing and of interest to keep the readers attention. The GSA club was a great idea. Lots of conflict and still not at an end, so something to be picked up later. I really liked the sensible speeches of the supporters and the silly speeches of the detractors. Emily was great - for a change! Lol! You know how I love her! And dear Matt is really keeping out of it altogether. Andy is definitely becoming the leading light again. And then this whoring club. Oh my! What are they into now. This is not, not, not a good idea. It can only go bad on them. But it sure keeps the interest going. And I can't believe the bunch of hotties you've supplied us with in these young men - I felt like I was surfing my internet looking for some hot young guys! Wow! I'm salivating a little now! But I'm so nervous for Andy and Matt and what they are opening themselves for here. Imagine what Matt's parents and Andy's would be saying if they knew what their boys were up to now. I cringe to think about it. OMG!
-
I love the Francis Bacon quote! Is that genuine about reading old authors? It did bring a smile to my face. I loved the GSA signs! Wow! And they doubled their numbers. Way to go! Up GSA! I'm there rooting for you! Seems that Andy and Matt have opened a door with this older guy that could be a problem. Really don't like they way these guys are following them. It's a bit scarey! I think they need to quieten things down in that area and maybe call in some help to deal with it before it gets out of hand. These older guys don't seem to be kosher somehow.
-
Well the GSA is hopefully off to a start. A pretty presentable turnout. Hope it stays and grows. They being tested already. Nothing good comes easy, they say! I must say the thought of a threesome with Derrick is pretty hot. Can't wait for that!
