Hehe, sorry, I really couldn't resist the story going in that direction Let's hope Josh's grandmother manages to take care of this one for them, too :3

Hehe, such is life! Thanks for your review, I'm glad you're still with me!

Josh After he hung up, Philip fell on my father’s armchair and sighed. “The school has already informed the police. As soon as they know something, they'll notify us here. Until now they couldn’t reach your father, and fortunately they won’t try it anymore.” “Okay. what do we do now?” I asked. Philip took my father’s calendar off the desk, and flipped through the pages quickly. “Your parents are in an important conference. We can still stay here for a few more hours in case the police calls.”

Well, I guess I should start this one this year. Happy Birthday, Nostic!!! You're currently asleep with that nasty cold of yours, so I thought this was the right moment to do this. The last two months have been super crazy. So many new things happened and you faced so many challenges. Now the worst part is over and I'm wishing you all the best for the close and far future. May the coming year be awesome! Love you, Mrs Blue <3 Sammy

Thank you Ashi! Sorry, the last days have been crazy, I just realized that this thread still existed

hey graeme! great chapter, once again. Very filled. I was hoping for a Kevin + Ross but well, I guess Ross will be happy with Warwick, too Warwick will have a difficult time repairing the damage, stuart did. :3 The conversation between Julie and that other coach was interesting. I honestly can't make up my mind who I want to get the position, but Julie not getting it sounds like more potential story wise. Ty getting the medal wasn't really a surprise. Can't wait for the draft to finally happen! x.x xox A newly wed Sammy

Offense is the Best Defence
Sammy Blue commented on Sammy Blue's story chapter in Offense is the Best Defence
Thanks! Well Jacob didn't have much time to think things through, but maybe it was better like that, for the plot at least. As for the taxi driver, interesting question that I haven't asked myself before, but I guess it's quite possible. And let's see how Josh and the others continue to deal with the situation, before we expect a too easy solution. :3 -
Thank you so much everyone!! I had a good day, even though I was working for the most part of it. But oh well, I got Friday to Monday off, so I'm not complaining. Got home and Nostic came down with one of those nasty German colds, but it was a nice evening anyway and a lot of tea and some chocolate is great at fixing her cold. (At least I hope so, lol, it's only two days to the wedding) @Timothy: Tusind tak! (Did I ever mention I know some Danish or was that random? ^^) As for the twins, they are doing well. The next chapter is sort of pending but since it's bound to the German version's posting schedule, it will take another 3 or so weeks until it is actually released (unless you happen to understand German? ) Thanks again everyone!! xox Sammy

More like if Ian and Conrad get a hold of him, I guess.

Awesome chapter, thank you for writing. Already at the beginning I was thinking of Kevin and Ross getting together. Seems like that might happen

Thank you for the new chapter! I'm glad Ross finally told Wu (and his Mum). I really enjoyed the way Wu acted and felt. It seems sort of irrational and almost non straight in the intensity he reacts, but then, I remember a number of real life reactions like that (of myself in my teens, and also of others) that were purely based on friendship, sooo yeah, I enjoyed how close that came to real life. Thank you <3

Thank you so much for updating! I loved this chapter(like I always do) amd cant wait to read more! Finishing this story to the end of the year sounds awesome, but no worries. I know how it isbwith writing…anyway, i hope you are doing good! love Sammy

Hey Graeme, sorry, life has been so busy! I'm getting married and I work a lot currently, so it's pretty crazy right now. Just wanted to let you know that despite all that, I still read your story and I still love it!

Offense is the Best Defence
Sammy Blue commented on Sammy Blue's story chapter in Offense is the Best Defence
Thank you very much! I've hardly had time to even think about writing in the past months, sadly, but I'm going to try and get this finished soon. Thank you for reminding me, so to speak -
Crisis averted, I guess. I'm really glad it turned out like it did. On the other hand I'm pretty much waiting for something else big to happen. It does seem too easy:/ Looking forward to seeing more interaction between Ross, Stuart, Ty and so on. Also hoping to read more from the recruiters I do wonder who will be the first gay, out afl player, kevin or Jim Or maybe someone else entirely?
-
I like the parts about Kevin, they're really sweet! Ross is playing a dangerous game and his thing with that creepy guy is much more dangerous to cause a huge stir in the media than just him being gay and coming out. But then, that sort of pressure put on players, making them do desperate things to keep their secrets... that laid open in in the media might change some things for recruiters and the view on professional football. In any case, I get what he's doing but I really hope he won't end up too badly from it. The whole thing with Deon, Dave and Ross was really interesting. I'm also looking forward to Ross potentially contacting that guy. It's a more neutral option than anyone else so far. I particularly like what's going on with the whole recruiting process and can't wait to read more. Especially regarding Ty and Jim, but also the others. :3 Maybe Ross will end up as a Leopard? That might make coming out a lot easier for him, too, especially if Jim gets chosen for the AFL. Great Chapter! Sammy

hey, just got back from a long trip and glad to see a new chapter! The parts with Isaac were very interesting. It is also very nice to see how things are going with Kevin. I hope things won't go too badly for Ross. To exhausted to say more, good night. Sammy

coming of age The Machine By Amon, Translated By Sammy Blue

Hey, I'm back in Germany from my vacation, sorry for taking so long. Modified on 10th May 2016: The name is not inspired by Venus in Furs specifically, but that does not mean that it won't fit. If you feel that it fits the character or you want to read the character that way, that's certainly fine, too. Sammy -
Hey, nice to see you posted! You improved it a lot by closing those gaps. I'm glad my advice helped. It's a much smoother read this way. Also, lots of things happening in the first chapter, so lots you can built upon further down in the story. That's always good. Commas and such you can still improve on, but I guess you already know that. ;3 All in all good work, keep it up.

coming of age The Machine By Amon, Translated By Sammy Blue
Sammy Blue replied to Sammy Blue's topic in Stories Discussion Forum
Hey Gandalf! thank you, I'm glad you like the story. While Venus im Pelz is an Austrian work (so it was originally written in German), I do not think it was inspired by that. However, knowing Amon (the author of Die Maschine) it might be a possibility. I will forward the question to him and get back to you once he replies. However, even though I am in contact with him, he is not online a lot, so it might take a while. Other names in this story are fairly common, but both Severin and Korbinian are rather uncommon names in most parts of Germany, except for Bavaria (and even there, I'm not sure they're all that common). Actually, I'm not sure about Baden Wuerttemberg either, but in any case, this should give you an indication on where the story is set.
