Timmy, do you like gladiator movies?
Allow me, I speak jive
I think I picked the wrong week to give up cocaine.
Yep, that movie wouldn't fly today. I still think it was hilarious. Same as Blazing Saddles, which to this day makes me crack up even if not PC
I thought you'd figure it out quickly considering it was in the last chapter of Higher Education. Where did Salvaggi spend his summer and who did he meet working at a gym and bar?
Missed that during my travels. I was in the area in the middle of July, and while I loved what I experienced, the afternoon thunderstorms curtailed my sightseeing. Although I have rain gear, sometimes it's easier to hole up in a hotel room instead of battling the weather on a motorcycle.
If I ever hike Mesa Verde again, I'll trade the motorcycle boots for hiking ones. It was not a smart decision, but worth it. I planned my trip to New Mexico and Colorado just so I could visit those ruins.
I obviously wrote this when Rubio was plotting a presidential run. He'll show up several more times in the series. And yes, CJ has harsh words for the senator.
T-shirts were CJ's thing for a long time. At some point in the future, most of them wind up in storage, but I could see his teenage kids raving over 'vintage' shirts
It takes a little time to make sure I have the chronologies between the main series and the spinoffs. While Chipper, Brad, and now Ritch were doing their thing, their interactions with CJ led to me writing the same events from different points of view. It's kinda fun to revisit those scenes.
I mentioned a missing relative when Ritch's parents died but had to wait for the right moment to introduce her. Although the family's entrenched on the I-95 corridor and the Eastern Seaboard, we now have 2 homes out west and someone who'll learn the joy of mountain living.
It'll take some time, but Lourdes will get what she deserves. I'm surprised you had time to read considering this is a holiday weekend. I'd imagine you guys have been busy getting everyone liquored up.
Most readers thought Ginger would mess around with CJ. It was tough not giving things away. Were I to write this today, I'd probably make the previous scenes a bit more subtle.
I'll repeat what I've told other binge readers: it gets better. And CJ's acting like a troubled teen with anger issues and the ability to defend himself. I've always advocated for kids to learn how to take out bullies. SPOILER CJ will have kids and they'll begin martial arts training around 3 or so; once they have decent coordination.
So, was the cliffie worth it?
