Get your mind out of the gutter! LOL Anyway, it's already out. Wheels went live last Friday.

Western culture is not accepting of incest at all. Well, unless you're European royalty. They were all inbred in the early part of the 20th century. My paternal grandfather was the product of two cousins, but that was at the end of the 19th Century in Turkey.

I keep reminding readers I never abandon story threads, but details sometime must wait for the right time before they're revealed. Gio Benitez and his husband have the type of look I see many of the people surrounding CJ having. Young and active.
  4. The old CJ would have! But I'm trying to show him maturing and thinking before acting. Most of the time.
  5. @Clancy59 I'll send you a PM. In the meantime, consider reading the first scene of As Time Goes By chapter 5.
  6. @frosenblum I'm one of those who didn't enjoy LotR. Neither the books or the movies (except for the pretty landscapes.) As in that book, and Jordan's Wheel of Time, my initial stories had multiple points of view and plenty of side stories. At some point I decided telling CJ's story should always be from his POV and shifted the side stories to spin-offs and spin-ins. As for the homophobe you mention, the two books about Ender I enjoyed.
  7. If I get to write everything I've thought off, it could be 100. But that's in the CJverse. We'll see.
  8. Unfortunately, the fringes of every political or religious groups are the vociferous ones we hear most of the time. The moderate center gets drowned out, but someone loud enough (CJ!) could make himself be heard.
  9. Joder! Pero tu tambien?
  10. I'm not sure either. Depending on how many of the outlined stories I have for the summer of 2022 get written, we'll catch glimpses of CJ's political outlook. I'd say he's a mixture of Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, and Green. He can't be the only one in the country like that, but he'll be the one with the resources, contacts, and willpower to make changes.
  11. I understand because I've been in similar situations. Because Brion and his wheels are mentioned in two upcoming stories set in the future, I wanted to introduce him. His appearance would have created questions. Hell I'm in the same boat with another story I won't finish in time. Skipping his recovery period was done on purpose. I wanted to highlight the positive and show someone, like Brad, overcoming physical adversity. Thanks for reading, Dave.
  12. I'm now guessing by picture you did not mean a photograph....
  13. LOL At least you know the next one comes in a couple of weeks.
  14. What picture. Carson Sawyer and CJ are Georgetown classmates. Carson works for DC's current mayor.
  15. Now, now... here's a little something from after CJ gets elected...
  16. More coming before the end of August.
  17. LMAO I'll just assume the request for another 100 chapters was made by mistake too.
  18. There are some great stories in the archives. A few clunkers too, but those you can skip over if they get to you. Characters are what makes a story. Think about it, the action could be great but if the characters are wooden it doesn't matter. I love to watch and listen to people and transfer some of that into my men and women.
  19. Funny you bring him up. He gets a mention in an upcoming story.
  20. Ya think. Our government is bloated and CJ will streamline the whole thing. Too bad it's so far off in the future.
  21. Something just made me think about how CJ dealt with Brad after he lost his legs. They were close, so CJ calling him Legless fit the relationship. CJ was acknowledging there was something there and he wasn't afraid to stare it in the face. Proof our guy has the chops for politics, he deals with a stranger the same way; he goes full speed ahead. Instead of having unanswered questions, he looks for answers and treats the man with respect while he may appear flippant. In time I'm sure he'll give Brion a suitable nickname. LOL Not sure if anyone did the math, but Brion's two years older than CJ. I see a lot of potential to explore their relationship. It would be different than most of the Squad who all did some growing up together. Damn, I hope I live long enough. I've expanded our boys' circle of friends in every story and plan to keep doing it.
  22. From Wikipedia: As of 2016, there were around 4,000 political appointment positions which an incoming administration needs to review, and fill or confirm, of which about 1,200 require Senate confirmation. I limited myself to the Squad, but I knew others would come into play. I knew who I wanted for HHS and CDMX gave me my Secretary of State. The National Security Advisor we met in Cadet. My notes are a mess! LOL Thanks for the praise, my friend. Off Topic - I thought of you recently. The Premium story I plugged before is set in Alaska.
  23. Guy has to work harder than the rest of us to stay in shape. and I'm sure some of it is because it helps with his mobility.
  24. Are you familiar with how colleges recruit athletes and the NIL programs allowing them to make money while in school? CJ at one point helped recruit basketball players for Georgetown. Once he starts school again, the Athletic Department will come calling. Sometime in December, he'll meet and try to convince identical triplets to play baseball at Georgetown. The rest you'll find out when I post it. Working title: Triple Play. We know they stay in Washington over the holidays from Cadet. They don't want to miss the twins being born. LOL
  25. I love it when my work elicits good memories in readers. CJ has a little knowledge of what it's like to be disabled from dealing with Brad, but as is his way, he'll learn whatever he needs to to deal with Brion.
