    More than I usually do, I want to hug a tree. Progress, as measured by human, often leads to losses most people don't recognize. In this case the pond and the hare were both lost in pursuit of profits.

    So damn touching. Really enjoyed it. Inanimate objects can help recall and cherish special times, and cars do it often. Our first drive, an escape vehicle when stressed, and at times a private spot for smooching or simply thinking.

    Not sure that particular conversation will, but if you recall, her ex lives in the DC metro area. Simmone and Trixie will be there sometime in August.

    Take a bow... Thank you for making not only my day but my week. Had a rough start, but all's well now. Good writing as usual, and I loved the pacing, slow enough I was tempted to skip ahead, but not glacial. Go have a pint or whatever it is you do to relax. You've earned it. I look forward to future adventures.

    Thank you. Yeah, my original intent of writting about a gay boy's summer in DC sort of got out of control. I have way too many ideas for the amount of writing I can do. Right now, I'm trying to figure out where I want to go next.

    For a couple of years, I took a long trip for my birthday. In 2014 I did the Outer Banks. Without realizing it I was there during Bike Week. I loved the area and included some of what I experienced in a story. I took CJ, Owen, Ritch, and Liz to the Wright Brothers National Monument and I may have described a couple other locations in the area.

    I can imagine. Sometimes, I'm amazed when I sign on, sign off, and an hour later I have a couple of pages of notifications.

    I barely drink alcohol these days, so a lot of those descriptions are cobbled together from reviews and the companies' websites. The Dwayne Wade rose I did sample last yar, and it was pretty good. The bourbon they drink I can't afford. LOL

    I posted on Sunday looking forward to talking about all the little details I included in the chapter. Instead, I was assaulted with a barrage of complaints. I try not to be a Prima Donna author, but the comments rankled. Can't really blame anyone since I do encourage comments, but y'all caught me by surprise. Not sure what the future holds right now. I'm finishing up a short story not connected to anything I've written before, and I have a couple to edit for others. That will keep me busy until I decide what to do with CJ & Co.
