I made a great deal at the super market. I've found apricots for just 2€/kg (regular price us at least 5€/kg). They're bagged by the supermarket in bags of 500-600g because they're too ripped or damaged. In the 4 bags I bought 14 are just perfect to be eaten today and the rest was just really ripped or butter soft but not damaged at all. I made a pie and those not eaten today or by mid day tomorrow will be make into jam. Little things like that make for a happy Clo

Hey Mister T no update. I've print my "plan of action" aka a 2 pages tabs with 3 columns: the dishes, the grocery list and the day I'll do the prep. We'll go grocery shopping Tuesday. Today we're having lunch at grandma's at Le Crotoy. It is indeed a beautiful summer day. A heatwave is on its way for Tuesday so being by the beach is really enjoyable. Hope you and Aod are enjoying the weekend too

It's strawberry and pistachios. I've never made it so we'll see how it goes 🤷🏻♀️ I'll also make salted cakes (thuna, ham, chorizo, sun dry tomatoes and olive), little sausage rolls, Provencal pies and the vegan dips (peas and avocado, carrots and beetroots) with breadsticks and carrots and cucumbers sticks. There will also be cherry tomatoes, melon and watermelon.

Ugh I couldn't either. I'm very very picky I dont like veggie except soup and mashed carrots, anything coming from the sea or a river and legumins like lentils. I think I eat meat everyday. I try not to at dinner but right now are it's BBQ season...

Me and his girlfriend are organizing a birthday surprise party for my brother next Saturday. We had a great plan of action: Tuesday some grocery shopping and Friday more grocery shopping and lot of cooking and prep. He took Wednesday off as it's his birthday and then Thursday is a national holiday. But... tonight he proudly announced he managed to scheme things at work to also have Friday off... He's also talking about why not then going away for a few days for the occasion... 😬
