    11am and it's already 30°C! All the shutters are down, trying to keep some of the heat form entering the house. The cats don't know what to do, where is the best spot to lay. 35°C now and guess where Looping is sleeping: in the drawer under my bed in the flannel sheets there's a picture of him by the definition of idiot in the dictionary

    Wow lucky you! Our pear trees survived the late April deep freeze this year and are full of fruits. I think it's going to be a great year for gardens

    Speaking of garden as I came back home after 3 weeks it has changed so much: * the raspberries are delicious, very sweet * the tomatoes are well formed already and promised to be numerous * green beans are all in flowers * zucchinis are exploding! The plants have gotten so big! We had to cut of some leaves and in a couple of days we'll harvest the first ones, or more like 5! * the watermelon has a couple of flowers buds! *the melon plants is thriving. It has 4 main branches/lianas with flowers and I've counted at least 3 little fruits big like the tip of my thumb already!

    too bad I was going to share some juicy strawberries from my garden but I guess I'll eat them ALL then Speaking of garden destroying critters. Last week, in just one day an army of little green caterpillars ate all the leaves on the 2 red currants on the front lawn. In the morning in was all lusciously green and at night it was all naked. Good thing the fruits were ready to be harvested so no damaged were done

    Thank my Sexy Lumberjack It reached 32°C in the hight of the afternoon and tomorrow will be the peak of the current heatwave with 39°C!!! Then Saturday night thunderstorms will break it to take us back to an enjoyable 25°C for the start of next week. Stay hydrated my friends 🧉

    OMG it's so hooooot!! B pretty pleased take some of it back! 30°C and I've been deep cleaning the apartment all afternoon (the landlord wants to have it estimate during the summer and I don't know if I'll be there for it so I want the apartmentto be perfect). I'm sweating buckets. Probably confused by all my tidying around, the noise from the vacuum and the smell of bleach Looping peed on the couch... good thing there was a cover and the fabric on the cushion is tick so I managed to take it off before it sip in the cushion Next I'm supposed to get on the road to go back to the house but taking a few minutes to rest and have a drink Hope you're all having a nice day my friends
