Dundunduuun... the president talked. He didn't say the word lockdown but the measures aleady in place in almost half the country are extended to the whole country for 4 weeks: curfew at 7pm, non essential shops closed, free movement within 10km and attestation needed over this limit.
The forecast is for the weather to change drastically overnight between Thursday and Friday and to keep going downward for the weekeand early next week with rain and temperatures not going above 10°C brrr!
I can confirm this. Another bright blue and sunny day and already hot. It's supposed to reach 26°c this afternoon. Our oldest cat spent the morning on the garden table enjoying the warmth but seems to find it too hot now.
It's another warm and beautiful day here with a bright blue sky and 23°C in the shades! For this afternoon class I took my stuff outside as it is warmer outside than inside the house! The last few weeks I haven't been feeling as motivated as the previous years about the garden but now I'm regretting it. The bits I had planted a few weeks (tomatoes and pepper though those might be salvable) earlier are kinda dead so i think I'll just buy some at the garden center that are already 20cm tall.
It's the opposite here. It seems the president said yesterday that if by tonight we've reach 50 000 cases per day (source covid tracker: positive cases per day on march 26th was almost 42 000) he'll make an official talk Wednesday evening which isn't a good sign... the hospitals are saying if no more restrictive measures are taken right now they'll have to choose between patients in a couple of weeks, days for some.
As almost half the country is already under lockdown we're expecting the worst aka a very strick lockdown for the whole country like last spring which is what the medical people are recommending.
You're too nice! I'll hunt for some fresh hunks in your woods we can share while the herd get some rest sometimes.
I'd love to play in the barn with the cats and your adorable son could join me in case it'd get cold - because canada right
Hey @Headstall my Sexy Lumberjack one of our teacher shared link about an exchange program between our college and colleges in Canada for 1 or 2 semesters. So how would you feel about a lodger who'd share her herd with you?
Evening gang!
It was a wonderful spring day here. Temperatures even went above 20°C this afternoon! I saw people wearing shorts and tshirt when I went grocery shopping.
I hope you guys enjoyed your day too
I made myself a couple of pork belly slices on the BBQ (and yes i know how to light a fire 💪) with boiled potatoes and a little spoon of cream🥲 that hit the spot!
Not really. With how late the deliveries are (france only received 1/4 of the promised doses this months) my time wont come soon. Plus I'm only half kidding about the vet thing. The sanitary authorities have said that when we'll received a lot of doses at the same time the vets could participate in vaccinating people 🤷🏻♀️
Same here. So far only all people over 75yo, those working in medicine and those under 50yo with comorbid factors can get the vaccin. So I'll probably have my shots sometime this coming autumn and by a veterinarian but hey maybe if it falls at the same time as the cats yearly shot we'll get a discount
This one is definitely mine! What? He's playing with yarn
Jean shirt, strong forearms, leather watch/bracelets, twinkling eyes and a few days old beard
