    Merry Christmas (eve) gang! It was a fun evening here at my uncle's. We had appetizers (tiny ham and salmon croissants, sausage rolls), fois gras, smoked salmon, white pudding, escargots followed by chicken, dauphinois gratin with stuffing and veggies. Ice cream bûches for dessert (chocolate or lemon meringue). We played games and laught a lot. Before going to bed we, the adults, put the presents under the tree and the plate with a cookie and a glass of milk. It was cute this evening, my cousin' son who's 4 and a half got worried about how Santa would make it with the fire burning. We had to convince him many times that he would find a way but his aunt had to promised to sleep on the couch in case Santa would knock on the door so she'd open it.

    It went well. Though I woke up multiple times from 3.30 to 6.30 when a nurse woke me up. Dinner was really nice: Toulouse sausage (thick like dick size) with a herbs sauce, rice and piperade and a vanilla cream for dessert. For breakfast I had tea and bread with strawberry jam. Clearly it was not a public hospital Unfortunately this morning I had to have a gas blood test (the one in the artery in the wrist) oowwyy

    Spending the night at the Clinique to do a sleeping test on site this time as the first one wasn't conclusive and damm that's some nice 3 stars hotel at least I have a single room, big enough with a private bathroom with sink, toilet AND shower, and a tv
