I look at it as Ishan is HIGHLY trained. Wylan is more instinctual power. The Fatamid Sisters of the Nile are that classic witch trio. And Morwenna is a Blood witch of corruption. There's a different path to magic for each of them and it keeps things fresh for me writing.
