So, some of you know a little about Ben. lil’Benji. So I had a meeting with some old University collegues, one a Philosophy Prof. One an Ethics Prof. And a few others in a Whatsapp... Where I posed the question: Is it cheating if you go back in time to a point before your partner has met you, and slept with them. OH MAN the debate raged... back and forth. Wil, my Wil, joined in through a separate conversation on Facebook. At the end of the day the jury was out on a definitive yes/no, but the consensus was "Hugo should ask Stoker."

Well we are beginning a new arc of Jimmy. This one will carry him through till Toronto… and that is a tough time. It feels like stepping into a new season, a shift in the weather. I tried to write about Marc-Andre once before. He’s in one of my other books. But I never felt I did him the justice that he deserves. Characters seldom quite match the reality of a person, they lack the complexities that come with flesh and blood, the small, defining quirks that make them truly live and breathe.

That's how I tried to work the A.O.I. Seemed the most logical way of describing how it worked. The ideal vs. the bot filled, AI driven mess that infests it like a virus.

remember one of the very first truths that Stoker ever told his Hugo. I think it was right when he lost his temper with him in the Eyrie and they... *ahem* finally got past Hugo's idiocy. “Like the fact you keep lookin’ at me like other men look at girls,” Stoker said, his voice dropping to a near whisper, his eyes fixed on Wojciech’s, a direct, undeniable challenge. “First time I seed you I thought… I thought you were different.”
