    Chapter 14

Ben's the real deal he is what Kier is pretending to be, a reflection of. But while Ben is fond of Kier I don't know if he is attracted to him, he treats him like a pet. Ben's own particular serial killer vibe aside. I can see it.

    Chapter 2

Nothing more passionate than hate-sex... mind blowing, world reshaping. And for these two, who desperately need one another to realign their own worlds... it redefines them. Finn is treated like glass by everyone BUT Garrett, who treats him honestly and calls him on his BS. Garrett needs the anger, he's so beaten down in his life that Finn offers him a punching bag (A willing one, who doesn't give a shit if Garrett's mean to him) They're exactly what they need (at this stage) to begin to heal their BS and their lives. Hate can be healthy if it is directed and controlled. These two don't really hate each other, they just know each other's lives inside and out. Like anyone who went to school with someone their entire lives, they've seen it all. From Garrett's crying in first grade, through to Finn's bad presentation in English class in Grade six... so many of these small town kids are basically brothers... and they're fighting like it.

Of course you wont... so four times?
  8. Chapter Three: Spark Gap The Stall The Chevelle didn’t just die; it performed a public, mechanical suicide. It happened at the intersection of Main and Third, the precise geographical and social epicenter of town, directly in front of Marty’s Diner. The diner where the varnished oak booths held the town’s living history, and tonight, they held the varsity football team—the new crop, the ones with cartilage like new rubber and futures that stretched to a bright, unbroken horizon

    Chapter 1

Yep, it is. Theodore is an amazing character to write and he flows on the page. Elias can be a bit dense, but loyal. Theo's the brains.

    Chapter 14

@Jeff Burton You've nailed Kier pretty accurately. This is what he is, and he simply doesn't see it. He's what he was made to be, and Ben is enjoying every second of it. A favourite play piece dressed up to be King, and from Ben's perspective, he's waiting and watching to see what Kier will do with it. He knows all about Lee and Riley, what they do, and what's going on.

    Prologue

Hmm that makes Tabby the oldest of this Generation, I need to canon-ize that... might need to write a Bobby-Peter circa 2001... which would mean I need to set it after Carter's Duty... which means Broken Andrew... oh interesting... <See this is how my brain works, this little town just spawns stories, it's engrossing... Tabby is oldest > Ergo write about Bobby circa 2001 > bobby needs his brother Peter in the story> Peter's going through stuff of his own in 2001 (Losing West and Will to life) > Andrew just lost Will to Toronto > Story of healing and Tbby's origin story >ergo Carter's Echo.... oooooooo title!> Little peak behind the curtain, excuse me while I go write this short story.

    Prologue

I swear one of these days I'll get the family flow chart done... Ok here goes: Peter Harding used to be Peter McCormick, he's Tabby's uncle. Married to West Harding, Kyle's Uncle. Lydia and Steve Hickey are siblings, cousins to Finn Grady. (Lids is 12, Steve is 13) Brian Higgins is... well, Brian Higgins, eldest of the Higgins brood/litter of puppies. Brian is around 14 at this point) Jacob Carter is Foster-brother/Boyfriend of Tommy Hesston, both are Nephews of Peter&West. They are the sons of Will/Andrew Carter. Andrew's Bechelor name was Highmore, before he married Will... so... that connection is there. Finn Grady is not in Merrickville at this time frame, neither is Alvin. (Finn would be 13, Alvin would be a few years older) (Thinks if he missed anyone) Bobby McCormick is Peter Harding's twin brother and the local Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant(local sheriff) Joey Harding runs the skate show with Tony Tyler, business partners, and Kyle's dad. Tabby has two younger brothers, both 12 : Ethan and Aiden. Also Twins. (they've got their own story written and ready for release) :: blows out a sigh:: I've forgotten a tonne of characters, but you get the idea... interconnected little town web. All of them call Grandpa Jon and Grandma Martha Grandparents (more of a courtesy for some) Granny Highmore is about, Andrew's mother (and the judge from the Fall Festival)

    Prologue

Close family friends. The Hickey family are the same ones from Capt. vs Goofball... They're all friends, the same age, and closely connected. Brian tends to be the lynch pin for the relationships, he's kind of the town's glue. The town is old, and very interconnected, they're all cousins second or third times removed after a fashion. Like most Canadian small towns.

    Chapter 14

Don't... it's a trigger for me... :: shudders at the thought and memory of Orange Pekco:: It's a blight upon this land, why... WHT did you dump perfectly good tea into Boston Harbour, and then make the abomination against all things holy that is *that* tea... I ... it was so bad... that I refused to drink it, no North American was allowed to make me a cup of tea... evil... nasty... I became a coffee drinker out of sheer spite! *ahem* that and eggs, why for the love of all things... why can't Canadians make eggs right? *grumbles* it is so hard to just fry it, pepper it and leave it the HELL alone... I mean if I can do it, why can't... what in the ever living @#$@# is Cilantro? Why is it in my eggs, and why are you so smug about it... Ok, I obviously need the big mug of coffee today

    Chapter 14

Poor Deano, desperate not to have to get on his knees for the boss, ADAMANT that it is eventually going to happen and he can't do crap about it. Love Deano, "I'll invest in kneepads then" "F**k Kier, what is it with you and that piece of yours, is it F-ing gold plated or something?"

    Chapter 13

They're definitely the type to do so, I mean over the winter Alvin acquired a pack of Higgins lads via pizza nights. Still looking forward to him getting his own animal tee-shirt (The Higgins clan is rather fond of their Zoo) Though it's going to be interesting to see them in a year or so, when Tabby has to undergo his first Christmas in the snow, stuffed into a Tabby Cat Christmas sweater, getting snowed on.

    Chapter 14

Chapter Fifteen: The Accord of Wolves The door to Flat 4B opened, spilling a wedge of buttery electric light and the thick, settled smell of stale tobacco and boy into the dim corridor. Deano stepped out, the sharp scent of his cheap aftershave cutting through the domestic fug. He paused on the threshold, adjusting the collar of his navy tracksuit with fastidious irritation. Around his neck, ludicrously incongruous against the shiny nylon, hung a striped polyester tie—maroon and grey, the co
