OMG... I DO know you... I mean KNOW know you... omg... Ian... wow... um... hey there. Now I am very pink.

Wasn't he though? Guy had Psycho written all over him. I got on with him, thankfully, but there was always that danger about him. And yes they were both out of my league as well, I mean I ended up in bed with the manager once, but that was a disaster and never went anywhere beyond "This is not working, I am going to sleep now" Kinda like sleeping with an older brother or something. Weird, awkward, and you know right away that it was not what you wanted. Still he was a great guy to know, lovely and genuine and he gave me some really good advice. This is driving me nuts now, I am running through all the guys I... *ahem* it's a long list... and TBH I mostly slept with Kevin back then. Do you remember Lynn? Short Lesbian, had that tiny tiny car, used to bus everyone up to Brighton and made me drive... Wait didn't you have, like, really soft hair?

The name... the face... oh God it's pushing at a memory. We've CERTAINLY had a drink together, I am sure of that... As for more... again there's something of a memory there... Ian, damnit why am I so old and can't remember things... Ian... It's in there and will come back to me. No I am SURE we've had a drink or two together. You were pretty cool if I am remembering... didn't you date... or go out with oh God's what was his name... ack I need more coffee... no I AM SURE I know/knew you. I was always in Waistcoats, looking like I always needed to have a sandwich. round glasses, gawky and weird. Come to think about you, you probably knew Kevin too.

Hell no, where's the fun in that? Up next : <REDACTED> My editor will kill me if I give out spoilers.

Cafe Blues, I knew the owner. Gay as anything, ex-army. Tried it on with him, but he and I weren't really a fit, still doesn't change that the guy was nice, wise, and kind. Damned if I can remember his name. I remember his on an off again Boyfriend, handsome guy if a bit... rough around the edges and unkind when he thought he was protecting someone. I was there when the place collapsed, bad luck, bad finances, and bad choices. So I have placed when you were there. :: detective Chris is on the Case:: I am endeavouring to figure out if I ever met you.

Citadel - Æuum – Delta Site The tendrils of incense curled through the air, their smoky ribbons carrying the scent of sandalwood and something ancient, deep in the Temple and away from the disappointed and confused crowd that was dispersing back to their own lives, be it Kulai city or one of the other streams. Murmurs of discontent and arguments over Stoker’s decision to reject the Aggregate still echoed as they tried to make se

My precious story... Stoker's ... It's like, ok sit still and be tied up. "I ain't bein' tied up, sorr." No no, you're bait. "Likes 'ell I is." NO STOKER sit still and wait your... why are you... oh gods... what did you do? "I tolds y' I ain't bait." :: face plams and stares at the ruins of a carefully laid plot arc :: you utter wanker. "I ain't sorry." I know... I know... oh I bloody know you're not.

GARRET That one... That one deserves a HOT ROCK in a very hot place next to a certain dictator from a certain war with a funny moustache. Oh that's going to be a rough one to write. That one was a wrecking ball through what was my life at the time. He was my ex-husband. And a mistake I ... yes... ok... That's an Ottawa Tale. Ok, I can certainly do that, but that's not a short one, nor is it pretty.

In Eastbourne, that was Kevin. Hands down. In my life, that was Wil, took him FIVE YEARS just to say "I love you" Drove my Mum nuts... "That boy will NEVER marry you!" (She HATED him) to this day I talk to Wil. One of the biggest supporters I have ever hand when it comes to my writing. Will Carter's namesake, and the basis for Andrew's character. i will write about him, if that's what you want. But be warned it is a tale of ... it's a weird one. Filled with musicians, rivalry between bands ala Scott Pilgrim, and snow... A F-tonne of SNOW...

That's the one, gods I remember the smells of that pub, and the two sets of landlords there. I knew a few hotel managers, dated a couple as well. I was there in 97-98(99), scrawny, scruffy guy with glasses surrounded by an army of Lesbians that wouldn't let any guy anywhere near their "pet" gay boi. Man the amount of guys they chased off... And I remember that expression as well, "God's Waiting Room" used it a time or two myself! Remember this one guy, Ed, he was my brother's boss, he was assistant manager of a hotel down near all the antique shops close to the police station. Lovely guy, and very kind. I just wan't in the headspace at the time to realize what was up and what was down.

Ha, they're Older than Stoker is. Let me tell you about Wil *the* ex's guitar picks... here I am YEARS after we were dating, and I have moved CONTINENTS, and somehow... SOMEHOW I still find his damn guitar picks in the oddest places and things. That's what I get for dating a musician and lowkey rockstar. We're talking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the list, local level but was on the TV a few times. Ha, he used to come home proud as anything bragging about it, and I'd smile and nod, and ask him not to leave sheet music all over my apartment. OMG I still have his sheet music... man I am just the worst

I will follow this up with a Tales from Ottawa, and a Tales from Cambodia. Jimmy has a few stories, a fair few adventures. This is therapeutic for me, as I need a break after writing my daily Watcher's chapters, which are HEAVY and complex (in a wonderful way) writing something light and comedic also lets me look back over my rather disastrous love life HA! understatement of the Cent... um... two Centuries man I am old.... Tell you what, ask one question and I will write tomorrow's chapter on it, any subject you want to know regarding my adventures in terrible, manic, and crazy dating... You each get one

Which reminds me of a D&D story My friend Fletch, BIG BIRD, and the elemental plane of Bacon.

For you, dearest Doctor, I will have one... The aggregate of Chicken... The Static Stream is a KFC restaurant, nothing else, just the restaurant. Where the original colonel still holds court. You know The Bride is going to rob that place blind.
-
Five Aggregates, five Static streams. you've met at least two of the holders, possibly a third. By where I am Chapter 17 of book two, only 3 have been revealed. Two left. Idea, Matter, Self... Buddhist Ideals I've played around with a bit. You have seen every single Static Stream so far. As for Factions, the Kulai, The Stalkers, The USMC-X, the Council, and the Sylerikon. All of which have been mentioned up to this point in the book. There may be more. You should see the Happy Hippos, and then there is the obligatory Taco Bell faction.

It is an awful, but fun habit of mine. I swear I don't do it on purpose. I just collect things that people leave, or lend and never ask back. or gift to me. I am looking across my living room now at at least four of them in sight. One of them is a little stuffed dragon that I earned twenty six years ago, and is still sitting on a shelf. He's been around the world with me, and is one of the oldest personal items I own. (I have a pair of two hundred year old Spectacles on that shelf, so you know, not the oldest thing in my house)

Jimmy was a bit broken, and he knew it. Nothing surprising, child abuse survivor, neglected kid, never could quite make things work with the people he fell in love with. Everytime he tried he always seemed to just miss. He was perpetually just that guy on the edge of happiness, of being a boyfriend, or pulling himself out of the mess that was his life. Thoughts of Kevin happened a lot on those days, not having a phone of his own (neither landline nor mobile) he was dependent on knowing wher

Eli is again, a stand out character. The depth you have given him in this chapter goes a long way to explaining why he doesn't give up. I am scared that the guy he was talking about was Rowan.

Sorry mister editor, boss man, sir

I like also in this chapter, that the Aggregate of Idea is beginning to wake up inside Hugo. Those flashes of insight, his sudden subconscious mastery of languages...

The Promise, one of my all time favourite films.

And Stoker wants to remind everyone that HE is very much that prize, thank ye muchly, now where's me bleedin' Sandwich?

I did for nearly twenty years. I am a fully certified and accredited University Professor. I've worked for Jinan University, Moscow State University, and the University of Prishtina, amongst others. I love teaching. It was a calling. And I miss my lectern.
-
Well.. err... Hugo can be a little blinker-blind... so I wouldn't say *never*... much to Stoker's very long suffering annoyance. Museums... they are like kyptonite to a little reedy academic boy who has never seen anything like the Smithsonian...

Dale Thorburn, he was a mountain of a man. Him and his assistant coach, Gordi, were amazing in their time. Legends at our school. Dale was a bit of a dick off the ice, always somewhere else. But when it came to his team, his boys, he was a fierce beast of a man. I have seen that man snatch victory from defeat in exactly this way. I've said before, my first job was working at that hockey rink, I was a Hockey official, Goal judge and a trainee referee. I worked directly for Gordi and Dale. And they helped make this scrawny Brit, into a man. Andrew (real name Matt) was a legend as well... and the kindest, most loving guy. And I was, ... am... damn it... am a puck bunny
