Yes, he lost control there, Andrew's grief is very different to Will's. Will gains control from it, Andrew slips. But as Doc observed, Andrew is the weapon that Hale built for Abernathy to destroy Will, in the end that weapon destroyed Abernathy. It's also a clue to the conditioning that Hale was trying to build, the real reason for the supposed Aphasia, and the nature of what's been done to Andrew. I wasn't expecting someone to see right through it so fast, but @drpaladin is a perceptive old G.O.A.T.

Will just needs a chance to think, the moves he's played so far have been audacious, cunning, and pulled from seemingly nowhere (usually after long debates with old friends of mine, lots of Baileys in my coffee and a decided amount of 'What would I do if I were him' ) I have a gambit left, And two days to pull it off. It required rewriting much of the ending of the book... that's THREE different endings for this thing so far... about 10000 words of cut chapters, and editing. I'll post some favourites at another point, as they just no longer fit the narrative, but are too good to just throw away. I am also realizing that the Coyote books are definitely separate now, but given they're written more like it anyway it's all right.

Enrico does have Abernathy's Order finances. (CIA black ops fund) it would be a shame if those fell into a highly co-ordinated, ruthlessly aggressive, and very patriotic Canadian's hands, who is a might bit annoyed at them slapping his husband in chains... just sayin

they weren't collateral, they were enemy combatants in a time of war. The three in that room contributed to the strategic and tactical bombing of Andrew's home.

Some of these are new pieces, some of these are very old pieces I have pulled out of my archive and revamped/rewritten to work. I wanted to give everyone something Christmas-ey in the run up to Christmas to say a big thanks for all the immense support this past year. Pushing me to get better, hone the craft, and just enjoy my writing again after so long of being ill.

Yeah literally just finished writing that... it's... a few.... more than a few... it's a lot.... a lot of people... Andrew is a machine when he gets going. (remembers Andrew's breach submarine fight) yeah... he's worrying when he's immensely pissed.

Sooner or later Will needs to run into someone that doesn't underestimate the reedy, bespectacled history geek and see the warrior underneath Of course you all know Andrew is sitting there smirking, having seen it all along.

One of Will's acts in the night scene with Lisa, was to open the National Armories and arm every Canadian that asked for it with military grade weaponry. This was the Churchill plan for England if it was occupied. Canada isn't done, not by a long shot.
