Personally I liked this book, it was a return for Will and a transition from the lost Will we saw in the last two books, to someone who is finally beginning to come into his own. Marc was a character that needed to be there, to give Will a push to come out of his Grey-life and start to shine again.

Ok to clarify. The stories start with Book one: Carter's Army and follow Will Carter through the next ten years of his life. Growing from a boy into adulthood, and eventually into him becoming a Politician in Canada. The last book of that cycle was Carter's Recourse. The new book is a continuation of the stories, but told primarily from Andrew's perspective and start ten years after Carter's Recourse, and are set in 2015. It *is* a continuation of the story of the two boys you read about in Carter's Army all those years ago. Just, older, wiser, and with more joint pain. At the advice of Myr, I was asked to set a second series for the books from Andrew's perspective. So same world, as the stories here are categorized by World, Series, and book. Hope that helps.
