Hahaha! YES! I did see this one before, but it never fails to make me smile! Humanity is always present! LOVE it! ((hugz))

It's always a game. Usually played by puppets who are more concerned with cheers and adoration from the crowd listening to them than he message they're putting out into the world. But we don't have to listen. We don't have to play that game. When doing the RIGHT thing becomes the topic of conversation that gets cheers and applause...we'll see a change. Right now, the only thing the masses appreciate is controversy and drama and finding somebody to despise as an adversary. That's what they like, that's what preachers give them, so that's the world that we will continue to live in until it changes. ::Shrugs::

It's not political...it's moral...
Comicality replied to Comicality's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
((Hugz)) I understand, dude! I really do! And the more passionate side of me wants t yell and scream and curse about this kind of thing until my lungs give out. Believe me. And there have been times when I lost my cool and have blown my top in the past. BUT...it won't work. And I realize that. I have a voice that can be used to enlighten, inspire, and influence...but not control. I don't even WANT that responsibility. I want to do good tings, and get people to think for themselves. Once that happens, a major part of this world bullshit will melt away. Don't follow ME...hear my side and the opposition's side and discover what makes more sense to you. That's what people need to learn. A vast majority of humanity has LOVE and sympathy in their hearts. When all the bullshit and the propaganda and the peer pressure melts away...they KNOW what's right. And what's hurtful and wrong. They KNOW it. And that will win the day in the end. Every time. But I don't want to push an agenda. I just want people to ask themselves the right questions, and ultimately reach the right answers. Deep down...they know 'evil' when they feel it. And they're ashamed. That's why they don't speak it openly. That's why the most inhuman acts are done in secret, and not where others can see it. But things are changing. And it will get harder and harder for people to defend with anger and hatred. Until then, I'll just put the truth out there and let it do it's job. People can find it at their own pace, you know? -

"A Class By Himself 29" I giggled at the eager approach that Tanner made towards me as he quickly crossed the room. I was sitting on his bed as he stepped between my legs and ran his fingers through the blond locks of my hair. "Dude, what are you doing?" I snickered, but he tilted my head back and his lips were firmly pressed against mine before I could even finish my sentence. "Mmmmmm...I want you so bad right now..." He moaned. "Hehehe, what? Why? What did I do?" I asked.

Question For Imagine Magazine...
Comicality replied to Comicality's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
Oh man, I was NOTORIOUS for falling for my friends! Hehehe! I don't know what was going on with me, but from about the time I was ten years old, I would have these really 'intense' friendships with the other boys from school. Especially the ones that lived in my neighborhood. And we did everything together, and talked on the phone for hours on end, and had weekly sleepovers, and walked to and from school every single day...and before I even really figured out the 'gay' thing in my head, I'd be in love. Sighhhh... I couldn't help it. There are people in my life that I feel really close to, and sometimes that just turns into something else. Luckily, I'm a lot more level headed these days. But back then, up until I was about 25 years old or so, I'd get the most serious crushes on the people who were closest to me. Out of all the friends I fell head over heels for, I only had sex with three of them. And one of those times actually ruined the friendship, because every time we got together it became all about sex and nothing else. I mean, I think we had feelings for each other, but we weren't in LOVE. You know? And sex gets boring when you're not in love. Believe it or not, I was about 14 or 15 at the time, and some days I just wanted to play Super Nintendo instead. Like, "Come on, dude. AGAIN?" Weird. I doubt I'd have to go into too much detail about my 'friend obsessions' as you've read about them in the stories for years now. Even Chris, from "A Class By Himself", which was one of the oddest experiences of my adolescent life. Because, truth be told, me and that boy had one hell of a love/hate relationship. Never had sex or even shared a kiss, and as far as I know, he's straight. But...ummm...yeah, that was weird. We HATED each other sometimes! I mean, we got into actual FIST FIGHTS on multiple occasions (Made for some interesting boy scout meetings and camping trips), but when we were friends? We were like BEST friends! And there were times when all the boys would have to sit in a semi circle and listen to the scout leader or whoever...and I'd stretch out and lay my head on Chris' thigh. Right there in front of everybody. And he would literally 'pet' my hair and tell me how soft it was, and it was the weirdest, most intimate thing ever. I don't even know if anybody noticed, but they never told us to stop, so...? ::Blush:: And of course, there was Mike. My best friend, Mike, who I met just before my freshman year of high school. That was love that I wasn't ready for at all. And we did EVERYTHING together (And Adam and Sam and Ariel, etc were around by this point), played games together, went to the movies together, got in fights together...I really REALLY fell for him hard! ::Blushes Even Harder:: We were friends all through high school, then when he went away to college for a while, then when he came BACK to Chicago and we got an apartment together, then after that, and I got to stand at his wedding, and I just spoke to him about a week ago on the phone! Nothing's changed. Not really. Hehehe, he's my husband whether he knows it or not. LOL! I did come out to Mike eventually. He didn't believe that I was gay for almost two weeks. That was cool. It was us living in that tiny apartment together that made me build the Shack in the first place. The sexual frustration was INSANE! We're just too close, emotionally. Always will be. Anyway, I'll stop this here before I let this get too long. But yes, I have not only fallen for my best friends in the past, but I think I've fallen for almost ALL of them at one point or another. It happens, I guess. And I wouldn't trade those days for anything! One regret though...I really do think I could have gotten Ariel if I wasn't such a chicken! Seriously! He was shy, but...I always had a feeling about that boy. -

Question For Imagine Magazine...
Comicality replied to Comicality's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
Oh yeah! Previous issues of Imagine Magazine here! http://www.imagine-magazine.org/ -
This is a question that I'm putting out there for all of you guys to think about and answer whenever you get a chance! Now, I am going to be working super HARD on getting new material for Imagine Magazine in the next month or two, and hopefully we can build a dedicated staff that will offer up new material on a monthly basis. (Yep! I'm going to put my nose to the grindstone and make this a monthly online magazine as it was intended...even if I have to do it all by myself!) But, at the same time, you guys are super important to me and to everybody reading. So, if you have a second, share your thoughts on this! You can do so anonymously if you want to. That's ok too. But I'll be collecting these answers (Unless you, specifically, tell me NOT to include you, for whatever reason. I'll understand) and adding them to one of the future issues of the magazine. Cool? We all learn from one another. We all have personal stories to tell. This is your chance to talk about YOU! You're the expert! So let us know what you think? K? More questions to come as future ideas get the momentum going again. Have any of you guys ever fallen for your best friend? It doesn't matter how young you were or if it went anywhere or not. For many of us, we find someone that we have a LOT in common with, we laugh with, we share our secrets with...and sometimes (not always, but SOMETIMES), we begin to develop feelings for the cuties that are closest to us. Why wouldn't we? Right? Tell us what happened? Have you ever been head over heels for a close friend of yours? When did it happen? Did you ever 'go for it'? What happened then? Was it in real life or online? Did you feel bad about it? Good about it? Whatever your story is...put it in the reply below! We can all relate to having a huge crush on that guy/girl that we felt so connected to when they were standing by our side. Share your feelings on this, folks! This whole website is actually here because I was MADLY in love with my best friend, Mike, at the time! So I feel your pain, believe me! Hehehe! What's your story? Let us know!

Yeah, there are some scenes that had me sitting here in tears while I was writing, and it's like, "What the hell is wrong with me?" And some scenes where I've been extremely angry, or extremely hurt, and I just needed to get it out of my system before I popped! And it's hard to explain to other people sometimes unless they've actually felt that emotional release. Like, it forces me to organize my thoughts and emotions in a way that I can't do just walking around vaguely thinking about shit. Hell, venting my emotions pretty much changed the whole DIRECTION of the "Billy Chase" series! LOL, or have you forgotten Book Six? Week after week after week...complaints. Why doesn't Billy do this? Why doesn't he do that? Just keep everything secret! Just blurt everything out and tell it all! Too much sex! Too little sex! He's stupid! He's selfish! He should, he would, I would, if he could just....ARRRRGHHHH!!! He's a teenager! He's supposed to be flawed! I'm trying to pour my heart into a story here! Jesus! But they were so unforgivably hard on the poor kid that I tossed all my plans aside and said, "Fuck it! Let them see what happens when I do it THEIR way, since everybody is so skilled at writing a series! Let's make Billy the bastard they want him to be!" Yeah...a lot of folks didn't like that at the time. LOL! But, you know...deal with it. Hehehe! Can I go back to doing things my way again? Anyway, this story is more of a 'happy' release. It's only four chapters, but I wanted it to be really sweet. I want those romantic flares to give people that warm and fuzzy feeling in a short amount of time. I keep trying to come up with a new way to do that, so I take some extra time to add to it in bits and pieces. Then it's like, "I'll be done in a few hours! I'll look it over, and I'll give it the green light tomorrow!" Then I go back and read over it, and I'm like..."I can add just a LITTLE bit more!" Hehehe, like a chef saying, "Needs more garlic!" I'll never be able to Beat Bobby Flay with this bland recipe! I don't think I can leave the house for much until Wednesday, so as long as I keep my wifi working, I won't be working on much else. A little finesse, and I'll make sure it'll be worth it.

Hehehe DC/Marvel Fanboy Moment!
Comicality replied to Comicality's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
I honestly didn't think they'd ever be able to pull off an X-Men cartoon! Even after the Saturday morning cartoon. But Bryan Singer, even though diehards give him a lot of crap for his version...he did it about as well as any director could. I will definitely agree with that. Although, I will always have deep DEEP issues with the fact that Hollywood just CAN'T seem to include Gambit in anything they do! I mean, WTF? Take Han Solo, make him a part of a sinister thieves guild, give him mutant powers and an explosive deck of playing cards, and add a Cajun accent! How hard is this? He's one of the coolest X-Men ever and they just keep skipping over him. Give me a few months and an advance! I could write a Gambit movie for them if they want one! Check out this fan film somebody made! And this is on a civilian budget... But yep, comic books, arcades, and 80's magic was always in the air! My friends and I didn't take the role playing path though. Instead, we were the horror movie geeks! Slasher flicks galore! Halloween, Nightmare, Friday, Child's Play, Hellraiser...Fangoria magazines and ordering severed hands in the mail! LOL! Oh, and my fave comic book story is STILL "X-Men: Age Of Apocalypse"! For a whole year, I was buying up comic books five to ten at a time! I really wish I could get a movie version of just that one saga. They grabbed a LOT of it for "Days OF Future Past", which was cool! But...ugh! Nowhere NEAR as epic! Bishop was hardly in it. Magneto. Rogue. Gambit (AGAIN!)...but 'Blink' is on the new TV show, "Gifted", coming up next month though. So that's cool. Anyway, I'm babbling again! Hehehe, don't get me started! ((hugz)) -
LOL!!!!!!!! Ohhhhhmigod, I'm old! Hahaha! Hilarious! Have you ever seen this one? ::Cracks up:: 'Texting'??? Hahahahaha!!! https://youtu.be/XkuirEweZvM

Feeling a little low tonight....

Yikes! You guys have been through a lot! I used to have NIGHTMARES about tornadoes, specifically. Not just as a kid, either. Terrifies me for some reason. Anyway, thanks again! My mom, aunt, cousins, and I, are fairly close to two shelters if things get bad. They're filling up fast with people fleeing Florida, though. We'll be keeping the news on all day just in case things change course. We're just now getting our first taste of the storms now. Lots of wind and rain and fast moving clouds, but nothing any worse than I've seen in Chicago before. From recent reports, the storm might move West of us, and wemight only get some 'tropical storm' damage from it. I'll let you know what happens. -

Thanks! I've found sooooo many awesome, thought provoking, videos and music and short films overt he past few years alone! I'll be sure to share more! Might as well spread the love, right? -
My heart goes out to those of you who are finally returning home after Hurricane Harvey, only to find their home in ruins. My heart goes out to you in Florida, Cuba, and the surrounding areas now suffering through the destruction of Hurricane Irma. My heart goes out to all of you on the West Coast who are fleeing the wildfires there. My heart goes out to our friends in Mexico who are recovering from the massive earthquake a few days ago. My heart goes out to New York today and to all the families who were affected by the attacks on 9/11. (Which, let's face it...it affected all of us.) Wherever you are, and whatever you're going through, the Shack's heart is with you every step of the way. ((Hugz)) Stay safe, and stop by to let us know you're ok when you can. ] Love always, - Comsie and Family

Can't help it! I'm an 80's kid! Hehehe! Seriously...the "Stranger Things" boys...that was me and my friends! So video games, horror movies, and comic books? That was my era! So cool to see DC Comics and Marvel go head to head in a major way in the movies now! Gotta love 'em both! Enjoy! Hehehe, this is what "Avengers: Infinity War" is going to look like next May! You know that, right? INSANE!

Hehehe! Chicago burned a long LONG time ago! Like...so long ago that only GFD vampires remember it! LOL! And the tornadoes happened waaaaaay outside of Chicago. Like...after Chicago and Springfield...who can name a single town in Illinois? Yep, that's where the tornadoes happened. Still, my heart goes out to them too, as it's always a devastating disaster. But yeah...I've never experienced one for myself before. This is brand new to me. We got extra food and water and stuff though. Hopefully that's enough. My heart goes out to Cuba and Florida today though. And I wish them luck. Also to those who are rebuilding in Texas right now, and those to be affected in the future. Honestly...if they told me to just uproot and start all over again somewhere else...I wouldn't know where to go. That'sa huge blow to someone's life. Sucks. Chill out, Mother Nature! Damn! Hehehehe! -
I've been working on a new project, but I keep wanting it to be 'better', you know? Ugh! I wish I could just write and let the story stand on its own. But I have this NEED to get the emotion across. And sometimes, 'words' don't help. You know what I mean? It's not about words. There's a true, universal, feeling that I'm trying to tap into. If I miss that part, then its just words on a screen. Forgettable. But I'll get it right if it kills me! LOL! I'm almost there. There's just a few tweaks that need to be made, I think. If I read it and feel moved by the big 'scenes' in the story, then it'll work. There's gotta be something wrong with me to make everything take this long! LOL! I need a break for tonight. Seriously. Just a short one.

((Hugz)) Even though we won't get the worst of it, I'll be going through my very first hurricane in about 48 hours. I'm kinda nervous about it. Chicago doesn't have hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires, or tornadoes. So...I'm not sure what any of this means. Just...'Irma'...be gentle with me. It's my first time.
