I love it!!!!!!!! I was so hoping that we would hear more about Cody! IMHO, Graeme is right... may authors do assume that some detail from prior books is ok... For example, Tom Clancy makes references to "the day the bomb went off in Denver" in later books, without much elaboration. It's understandable without reading the prior books, but not in detail, just like Cody. BTW, I shall, in the interests of not stating the obvious, refrain from announcing that Shadowgod left us with another cliffhanger.

I went grocery shopping, but that's it. LoL I tried the Black Friday shopping last year; it was interesting, but crowded. There were people lining up an hour before the 6am store openings!

I was wondering id anyone would catch the "or so he mistakenly thought". All I'll say is, that it's more than one person who noticed. Shadowgod usually adds cliffhangers, so his hints about a cliffie in 16 are yet another cliffhanger by him; he's left us all hanging, again! BTW, somebody mentioned that he's trying to abdicate as King of all Eeevil Cliffhangers? Well, umm, as that's a life-long title, that means our task is clear should he do so... Oh, Dimitri...

Wow, thanks everyone!!! Thank you all so much for keeping the forum active. I love this forum, and I honestly did think it would die off while I was gone. Emoe has the next chapter (I managed to e-mail it from Venice before my conection croaked). So, hopefully, we can get back on track for a posting schedule soon. However, the next chapter isn't written yet, and I'll see if I can get it done in the next 48 hours... I didn't have chance to do any writing at all on the trip and I missed it a LOT. (and I missed all of you, too!!!) Now, all I have to do is read all the posts and figure out who was behind this whole "Queen" thing. I'm thinking of a reward... Maybe a nice job offer, in sunny Australia, with Dimitri... He's not a bad guy to work for, really.

My laptop batery died. I checked my email from an internet cafe in Turkey, but I didn't waqnt the GA screen coming up (It was kind of a rough area). I'm now in Venice, Italy, a hundred yards from St. Marks square. I'll have VERY sporadic internet acc ess for three days, then none. I can barely read the forum, the connection is sporadic. Yes, poor, misunderstood Charity. Well, it could be worse; he might try for their cricket team, and then spend the next 30 years trying to comprehend the rules, until discovering at last that Cricket has no rules. But, I already offered one theory about what he's up to; he wants to steal Ayers Rock! Lol, yes indeed; Kevin is indeed rumored to enjoy shopping! He's also well-known for fashion and grooming advice. Why, one time, during one of Kevin's hiatuses, he even had a fashion-consultant section in his blog (in the comments section of the post). Of course, Kevin wasn't around when this first occurred... Lol! I spent an hour shopping today, and that's my limit. I had to get some new clothes for my trip. Agreed, I miss his writing, but I applaud him for going to college. In the meantime, I note that I've let his fan-name poll lapse... I should have initiated the runoff by now.
